Innovet Pet Products Tracerz for Blind Dogs (5cc of Path Scent Oil ONLY)

Follow the directions for sure. One little bit on you smells beyond a few washes. However, my main issue is not this. There is very little in these. Not enough to do much, even in small drops. I get that it takes some work to create this, but I used it for about one foot to the doggie-door, 6-8" either side of a door, and the same outside for a walkway door. I also used it to mark a doorway from the house to the garage, and that was it. All gone. I was somewhere between conservative and liberal with the application, and then all gone. If you wanted to mark the main items or pathways in the house, you'd need 2-3 of these.

These all smelled like strong cinnamon to me. They don't last very long. My dog is blind, so I thought it might help her find toys. I know that's not the primary purpose, but I'd hate to have to re-scent trails around the house when I moved furniture. . It does, but only for about a week. Don't get it on your hands, unless you want to smell like cinnamon for a couple of days.

I had 2 blind dogs, one blind from birth & one blind after previous owner neglected her eye issues so she had to have both eyes removed and it was done at an older age.This product was just messy and stained whatever it came in contact with and more importantly, did absolutely nothing to help my dogs. It was useless!

I can only give a 4 because of lack of how to open it!! It does seem to fade quickly but I use mine outdoors! I have a blind dog and she will follow the scent of this. It would be way to strong to use indoors in my opinion. My sinuses would kill me. It tends to have almost a cinnamon scent to it.

An acquired blind Labradorable suffered from upwards of 20X/day bumps down to X2 because of following the directions for placement of the Tracerz. His 60lb body now follows the obstacle course of the home easily, pausing around corners to get a whiff of his directional scents. He makes an arrow to the food dish and water bowl, marked with a sticky back tracerz, that comes off before going into the washing machine and goes back on the clean bowl with no damage from re-sticking.The scent oil (vs. the sticker tracerz) are used in the garden/grass to mark a safe area for your loved one to 'do your business' and find home safely. I see mixed reviews and am puzzled. Maybe, perhaps, it meant a little bit more for me to follow precisely the enclosed directions and is a smashing success. These are no waste for your money and the world's best invention for vision-disabled or older pets.
