Backing plate
Yak Attack makes great products for kayaks. This backing plate will make the track I installed a lot stronger.

Got it for my kayak
I got this to mount my ff on my hatch of my bonafide P127 and I also got the backing plate for it and it done well

Good backing plate
If you are going to place any significant load on your kayak tracks then you should use backing plates. These backing plates are made very well and installation was easy with no issues. They are expensive for what you get so I knocked off one star for that however atleast the quality is there.
