Gamemaster 50 Lb. Bag Feeder

This was great for carrying deep in to the woods and being easy to transport. Everything seems to be functioning perfectly on it.One note I'd make though is you probably want to do something to squirrel/racoon proof it, so they can't jump or climb down on it from the top and rip it open. On my game cam's I can see them trying but they haven't succeeded so far, as of the time I write this at least.My plan is to order some thin plastic sheet (thick enough to be semi rigid), cut a 2' circle out of it with a hole in the middle and notch from the side and put that on the rope the feeder is hanging from. The hope is then anything approaching from the top can't get a grip on anything, would slide off of that plastic disc, and wouldn't be able to reach below it from the rope itself.I think this would be a 10/10 perfect product if it included something like thatEdit: I was literally two days too late for my raccoon proofing attempt and they've ripped the top of the bag open. Bummer, but I don't think I can fault the product for this. I was clearly aware of the potential

Great compact product that will hold a full 50 lb. bag of corn. I do recommend taking something like a bailing wire to wrap around branches to the handles though so you don't have to find or cut a branch to slide it over. Also need to take note that on the timer there are several options for days for run times and its default it to run on Mondays only. Also if you shut the timer off you will need to reprogram all of the timer setting back into it I found out. Not a problem if you know a head of time.

Back to the is it waterproof? - I suggest you spray it down with Nik wax found here on Amazon - it's a great waterproofing that doesn't smell like the silicone sprays. It is fabric and not meant to be left out year round - use it a month or two while hunting and put it away for next season.

Holds a 50lb bag of corn up in a tree fine. I used these sparingly in hunting stands I want to leave up for a few months and then take down or stands I don't want people to see (a stand with legs, people can see - something up a tree people usually never see). Great idea here. For the money they are fine. I did have an issue with one (of the two) - basically the programming pad wouldn't power on. I played with it for about 30 mins and all of the sudden it started working. If I purchased 5 of these, I'd think one wouldn't work (guessing, who knows) and I'd send it back and order another one. Once they work, they do their job just fine and even when it rains they will ran fine. If you left a 50lb bag of corn in there for a month, in a wet bag - you'd have issue but b/c the bag drys out good when the sun comes out, for me these have been fine as a more 'run and gun' type of feeder for deer and hogs.
