I have a wood-burning stove that heats my entire 2500 square-foot home. I use these when I’m working with cords of wood. I’m anaphylactic allergic to wasps and hornets; and we all know that these creatures love to burrow into the dead, chopped up wood. These protect me from stings (which’ve landed me in emergency rooms, before.)I also use them not only for barbecuing, but when lighting and building the fires in my fireplace. They are handy!Also, they look like gauntlets, of the middle ages. I’m just waiting for somebody to taunt me, so I can throw one down.
