Minnetonka Men's Sheepskin Ankle Boot

Comfortable but it takes time
These are very well made. Materials are all excellent. They are very warm. Initially they were a bit too tight at the toes and in overall width to be truly comfortable. I thought of sending them back until I ready the reviews. Many suggested that they needed to be broken in and would stretch to be comfortable. So I took a chance.....It took about a month but they did stretch and are now extremely comfortable. Still snug but comfortably/cozily so. I like that you can turn the sides at the ankles up or down depending how warm you want to be and that they are nicely finished either way. When turned up, the backs are suede like the rest of the slipper and turned down they are fleece like the lining.

Haven't worn anything but these for two weeks.
Took them out of the box, flipped up the collar and put em on my feet. Aside from one rainy day, this is the only shoe I've worn for the last 2 weeks. I know, I know...they're house shoes, but they're so dang comfortable I don't want to take them off. I figured I'd give them a bit so I could give a decent review. So, here we are two weeks later and I'm still a happy camper. My feet stay warm, comfy and cozy in these. Very happy with the fit. I wear a size 10 boot so I ordered a size 10. They fit well without socks, a little bit tight at first but after wearing them for about an hour they fit perfect. Started wearing a light sock with them as well and they stretched a bit more and fit perfectly once again. I normally wear minnetonka moccasins anyway, but the lining and padding in these make them much more comfortable. When I eventually wear these out I will definitely be purchasing another pair to replace them. Oh, and by the by, I wear them mostly around the house and taking the trash out to the curb, but even after a trip to Bass Pro and a couple of trips to the grocery store they still look and feel brand new and I'm normally tough on shoes.

Great fit for my cold feet!
I have thyroid issues, which lends me to having cold extremities. I wanted a pair of house shoes that covered my ankles. First I tried a pair of MukLuks, but they fell apart in a couple months. Then I decided to shell out the money for these (I'm cheap, so that was no small decision).Wow, these are so worth the money. I've had them more than a year and a half, and I wear them around the house probably more than half the time that I'm home (especially now that I'm on covid house arrest). Looking at them, you'd think they were only a month or two old. They have held up VERY well. They keep my feet warm, they're comfortable, and while I did buy them to wear around the house, I'm not afraid to go out to the mailbox with them on. I would have no problem wearing them out and about, except that this just isn't the style of footwear I wear out and about, and there's not enough support for my high arches, to wear out for any duration on my feet.I highly recommend them, and IF they ever wear out, I will definitely buy another pair!

Uncomfortable!
I ordered these for my sons birthday. He received the Minnetonka brand about 13 years ago, and loved them. They finally wore. So I ordered a pair for his birthday. Minnetonka brand has been a favorite in our family. Everyone has at least one pair. Boy have they changed the quality. On the inside of the slippers, you can feel each seam. The seam sticks out by a quarter of an inch. They are super uncomfortable to wear. Think about these before you buy!

A happy man!
I bought these for my man and he loves them, ALMOST as much as me! He is a size 16 and has flat feet, so arch support wasn't a necessity, but the size was important. They are warm and cozy, and very comfortable. The best part is that they are made in the USA, which means quality, craftsmanship, and comfort. They breathe well, and are fully washable; awesome! I'm planning on ordering a pair of Minnetonka's for myself.

A mediocre sheepskin bootie
When new, fits snugly. Overall nice winter slipper for indoor wear or walking a short distance to the mailbox. The outer sole is a rubbery plastic. The negative is the insole, which is made of wool attached to a synthetic base, and the whole thing is sewn or glued down so that the insole is not replaceable which would have been better as replacement insoles are available on Amazon. Reducing to two stars as a few more months later the insole has as pretty much completely worn away, making wearing the slippers in bare feet uncomfortable. If you are buying these slippers to support a US local manufacturer, be aware that mine had a label "Made in the Dominican Republic", so the Minnetonka box and labeling are just marketing. The slippers are not much different from other ones that are labeled "made in China", so you might as look at the reviews and buy on price.

Quality natural sheepskin, American made
I bought these a size larger than I usually wear in shoes because reviews said to, but that was not my experience, they were too big. But rather than return them I put in some sheepskin insoles and that made them fit much better. They are a little floppy still, but that's OK inside the house. For outdoor wear if I want a very secure shoe I add socks. I did a lot of comparison between the different slippers available here on Amazon and these are the only ones that had REAL sheepskin inside and a very secure sole that can withstand waling outside. The last pair I had lasted many years until a puppy chewed them, I am hapy to patronize this company again. American made quality.

These are great boots.
Aloha! These are great boots....I appreciate the solid flat sole...unlike the gummed soles on other brands. Also, it's nice to have the option of rolling up the folded-down portion of this boot for added warmth to the ankle area!...Certainly would recommend them. I've had other boots, (Ugg) that need an initial 'break in' period. At first I thought they were too tight but now they are fitting well. If by chance you have a wide foot, I would try to order the "W" version, as the "M" version is slightly narrow, until they are worn for a while. Good Luck!Keoni
