I like this scale very much. I like the fact that it uses 2 AAA batteries instead of the button type as they are much easier to replace. The only thing I didn't like was the unit button which takes you from kgs to lbs or vice versa. It is on the back at the top and hard to see, at least to my old eyes. Other than that, I like it very much.

Some scales have apps and all this other nonsense. I dont know why. Just give me something straight forward that reads the correct amount and lets me think "man, I remember in high school when I weighed half this." Thats what I do, and this fulfills that need well.

I received the scale and put the included batteries in. The icon at the top should have shown digits, but there was nothing. I put Every ready batteries in and it lit up for two seconds, then nothing. I tried contacting the seller, but no response. My impression is that maybe the springs that the batteries are up against aren't strong enough and tend to lose contact, but the manufacturer would know that better than me. I then ordered a regular scale, no batteries, and it works perfectly.
