Q: Has anyone used this for making coffee in a small one cup expresso coffee pot?

I have not, but I needed it to reduce & distribute the heat for my waterless cookware. My stove is far hotter even at low temps than the cookware needs. It works very well at that. If you are worried you need to reduce the heat to your coffee pot, this should help nicely

Q: Why is the product information about Botaro pumpkin carving set when that is not the correct description?

That should not be new sometimes the information is put in and assigned to the wrong product these are diffusers to disperse heat slowly. Really don’t like them was too late in returning them I have Mexican clay pots and they’re supposed to be put on diffusers so they don’t crack tried it didn’t like it waste of your money as far as I’m concerned I just put it in a love flame does a lot better.

Q: Is this food grade metal without lead or formaldehyde?

You set your kettle on these to cook at a temperature with out burning your food in your pot. They work well.

Q: Description says plastic handles. Specifications says wood handles. Which is it?

Mine are plastic. Great product by the way!
