Carl has great paper trimming products
After using cheap paper cutters for home office and crafts, I broke down and bought a “real” paper trimmer, and am so glad I did. It has last several years with no visible wear. This review is for the replacement blades. What I really like is the cutting board has storage for two extra blades and two extra cutting pads, so I won’t lose those in a drawer; they’re always handy. After more than 5 years, I’m just now replacing the blade for for the first time, and just realized I can flip-over the cutting pad and use the other side. Great products!

Carl is awesome!
I love my Carl. He has been my teaching buddy for 6 years. The blades are very durable as this is only the 2nd time I have had to purchase them since I bought Carl. They can easily go through multiple layers of cardstock. The blade carriage is protected in such a way that the sharp area is not exposed and almost impossible to reach through to, so I can keep it on the counter in my classroom for constant daily use. Love it!
