Quite Amazed
I have been using this product for less than a month on my 2 year old daughter. She is a mosquito magnet--they bite her anywhere that there is exposed skin (including her face!). In addition to constantly receiving bites, she also has terrible reactions to them. Typically, a mosquito bite for her will result in a swollen, raised area which seems to be quite painful and itchy. They also tend to leave scars (and hyperpigmentation) behind. So because of this, I have been on a constant search for a product that is both effective AND safe (non-deet)!On her, I've tried both Skin-so-soft Bug Guard plus IR3535 and Cutter Lemon Eucalyptus. Both products provide inconsistent results, with the Cutter performing worse than the Skin-so-soft. Typically, when I apply these products I spray them on all exposed skin (avoiding the face) and also on clothing. Despite doing this, the mosquitoes still seem to find a way to bite her. . .many times they will go for her face! My overall feeling about these products is that neither provide complete and efficient protection for her unless every inch of her body is sprayed with the product. So, since we live in the southeast US--where mosquito season can be VERY long--I felt compelled to at least find a product that I could use a little more liberally (and on her face) without the strong, take-your-breath-away fragrance.Well, the product that has worked the best is TheraNeem Outdoor Herbal Spray. This spray does does not take my (or her) breath away when it is sprayed because it is NOT an aerosol. It does spray out but its consistency is more like a liquefied lotion. It is opaque with a watery consistency. Initially, I was afraid that it would leave a tacky or greasy residue but once completely rubbed in, it seems to absorb nicely. Also, the fragrance was another concern for me. Due to the fact that I am not too fond of neem, I was quite concerned that the smell of the TheraNeem Outdoor Herbal Spray would be too overwhelming. The first time I tried it, the smell of the Spray was a little shocking (I think that I was hyper-focusing on the Neem part). . .but the more I use it, the less it seems to bother me. Actually, I think that I am starting to really like it!Anyway, this product is great! My daughter has not had any bites while wearing it. It seems to last for the specified time--between 2 and 4 hours--and my daughter does not complain about me applying it to her skin (no stinging or reactions due to the fragrance/ingredients). I have also used it on her face. So far, she has had zero issues with it. This product works well as a stand-alone insect repellent. Unlike the other sprays that we've used, I do not have to spray anything on her clothing. Also, when I do not apply it on her face (only using it on her neck), it seems that the mosquitoes still avoid biting her face.Lastly, I gave some of this spray to a neighbor to use and she was quite happy with the results. Like my daughter, she is a mosquito magnet and tend to have nasty reactions to their bites also. She used it while gardening and stated that she did not receive any bites.Definitely a great product and I highly recommend it for use on both young and old.ETA: Just wanted to add that this spray is NOT waterproof and MUST be reapplied a lot more often if there is any type of heavy sweating or water activities. I had one incident with my daughter this summer where she was outside running, sweating (heavily), and playing with a water. She received 4 bites on her legs. Since I am still in my testing stage--trying to figure out how often I need to reapply to maintain effectiveness--I tend to keep a close eye on her exposed skin. The Theraneem spray barely lasted an hour. Definitely disappointing. . .but I realize that the product does not say that it is sweat-proof or waterproof. So, I WOULD NOT recommend Theraneem Spray to be used during water activities, in heavy mosquito areas. . .for now (regarding heavy sweating and water activities), my recommendation would be with Skin-so-soft Bug Guard.

I have used this product for years for bug bites and it works. One time application and itch and sting gone. ❤️

Product Works, Sprayer Does Not
The formulation has changed and the spray comes out like a water pistol so it does not cover the surface of whatever you are trying to protect. The formulation must be much thinner to come out like that as I used an older sprayer of same product and no change. They need to change the sprayer or get back to older formulation.

... trip through Hana in Maui and man were we glad we had it
We bought this product to use when we did a road trip through Hana in Maui and man were we glad we had it! We had one brief stop where we hadn't thought to put it on yet, and in the brief 2 minutes we were out of the car to get some coconut ice cream at a road side stand, tiny, quick-moving little mosquitoes, despite it not being dawn or dusk, managed to bite me several times on my hands - the few parts of my body that weren't encased in long-sleeves / long pants / shoes. After spraying it into my palms and just using it like a lotion (the spray nozzle is not particularly powerful or effective at aerosolizing it) and rubbing it thickly on exposed body parts, the bugs left us alone throughout various road stops and a several hour long tour of an exotic fruit plantation deep within the bug-infested depths of Hana where we were told that the bugs routinely make interns and people who come out to work on the plantation leave, crying. I've since used it several times over the past year for mosquito repellency (they just LOVE me) and it works great. It doesn't smell horrible, you don't have to worry about the side effects of some high DEET concentration formula, and many times I've forgotten to wash it off until the next day because it just absorbs into your skin like baby oil and makes it soft and you don't have a nasty residue on your skin. Amazing, amazing product.

Isn't working in my area (southeast WI).
This product was developed for use in the Florida Everglades. Once, a park ranger told me that there are differences in what works for repellent with different mosquitoes and that people do have different reactions sometimes, to the bites from mosquitoes in different areas, too. So, your experience with this may vary. Here's mine:I have given this a few months and find that the Wisconsin mosquitoes (southeast area) are not impressed. Today I gave it one last try, and still got bit, even where it was applied directly. If you are giving this a try, then do be ready when you "spray" it, that you will not get a fine spray. Instead, it is more like a splat of the product. It is still effective for delivering the product onto your skin where you can spread it around. After doing that, we used what was on our hands to pat over the clothing areas. This spray bottle does not work for applying the repellent directly to your clothing; it is too thick for that. In the past, with different organic products I found that lemongrass oil was quite effective. This product has that, it just might not be a high enough concentration, or perhaps once combined with the other ingredients maybe I still smell tasty to those buggers. When I can, I will pass this along to someone who lives elsewhere, as it might work where they live.

No bug bites when used
If I could give 10 stars I would. This stuff is amazing!! I kayak camp and fish all over the eastern US and there are bugs, critters and mosquitoes EVERYWHERE. When I use this no bites, it smells great and lasts a while. Must have if you go outside and the Bugs love you as much as the love me

Works well against mosquitos and black flies
I have used this product for several years, I reordered and noticed they changed the formula to make it thick and gloppy instead of a sprayable liquid. It's still effective, but it does NOT dispense well, the sprayer on the bottle is messy after use (have to wipe it off) and it doesn't spread a well or last as long as it used to. Reapplication needed every couple hours instead of 4-5 hours.4 stars because it works, but formula change was not for the better.

Worked for me
Had fungus gnat problem, which this appears to have sorted (along with adding a lining at bottom of the pot, and covered the top of the soil) so the buggers can't fit through but water still drains through. Sorted. (Also I used one of those yellow sticky cards to attract and catch).

Bug Killer
I bought this because it was recommended on Google to kill mealy bug which appears as white fluff on indoor plants - because it contains neem oil. It works! Mealy bugs hate it!

effective but doesn't spray
love the product itself but this particular one seems to be a bit thicker than ones I've had before and as such, doesn't spray out but shoots out in a jet!
