As always Starrett makes high quality tools, this tool works beautifully.

This is a good tool for anyone who needs a hand scriber. I use it for scrimshaw. it is a bit pricey, but worth it. Holds an edge well.

Will score a line on almost anything you want to. Easily bites into anodized aluminum (even type III mil-spec hard anodizing).

Starrett Carbide Point. The end broke off the first time I ever used it. The one that came with it did the same thing I ground a new point on both hopefully they stay.
