Organic Soapnut Powder (340 Grams)

I used this first as a dry shampoo. I was so impressed that it gave my hair some bounce and made it more manageable. I then put about 1/2-1 teaspoon of the powder in water and let it sit. Some people say to let it sit for a day, but since the dry shampoo worked so well it ended up being two days. I figure this is a good thing, as one day and the liquid was still runny, which leads to so much loss of the liquid as it runs and not a lot on the hair. After 2 days, it turned gooey, which was much better. It did ferment a little, as there were little 'mothers' that I found afterward. If that bothers you, you might want to strain before using. Over all, I'm ready to throw away my chemical shampoos. This works so well that the little effort I put in to soak the shampoo is well worth the effort when it means less work trying to get my hair to do what I want it to after using a store bought shampoo. Love this stuff!

Less hair definitely comes out in the shower now! I just hope my hair is actually getting clean! It took my hair about a week to get used to using this as shampoo.
