What a comeback!
After all the issues with Unity, this game was a real comeback. From the start it was a pleasure to play. No issues, no glitches. The story is well laid out and engaging, and unlike in unity, they brought back the character empathy again. You connected with the Fry twins and cared about their endings.London is stunning, bustling and comical. It was so enjoyable to explore and look out over the city from the rooftops, or run across the boats crowding the Thames. The levelling system was well paced and rewarding, and each unlock was useful and noticeable, making you strive to earn more.Very repeatable, with a great in depth story and so many side plots that kept you challenged and having fun.

Best since Brotherhood.
I noticed something whilst playing this, a feeling I hadn’t had in the AC series since part II and Brotherhood - a reluctance to do story missions, because I was having so much damn fun I just didn’t want to advance the game closer to the end.The characters are fun and beguiling, the dialogue both hilarious and poignant at times, the missions interesting, the side quests enticing and the setting fantastic. I didn’t think Victorian London would work, but it does - I had more fun riding a carriage through the streets of Lambeth with a load of hijacked supplies than I did as a pirate in AC4 or as Ezio in Constantinople or as that guy whose name I can’t even remember in North America. Ditto leaping on a train, stealing gold and detaching carriages, or clearing a route of guards in order to kidnap someone and bundle them into a carriage. The controls seemed honed after a few clunky combinations in earlier games. I did experience the odd glitch but nothing game-ending or ruinous, plus the “Fastball Run Down/Up” different keypresses took some getting used to after the other games. Little things. But all-in-all, the amount of good points demolish the small number of minor irritations.Get this game. It’s fun to play with a good storyline, great characters, plenty to keep you entertained and coming back for more without being too easy or too hard. Just buy it already!

Too Much Chaff, Not Enough Wheat
Assassin's Creed Syndicate is a mixed bag. The voice acting is excellent, the graphics are great and the dynamic between the two main protagonists adds a lot to the story. Gameplay wise the the parkour works generally very well the fighting is good and the AI an improvement on the last one I played. The actual assassinations are fun too, you can do your own thing or interact with the right people and you get a special death. However, this is an Ubisoft game so the map is absolutely packed with pointless collectables and boring side quests. I know you don't have to do them but I'm something of a completionist and also you need to do a certain amount to level up enough to be competitive. If Assassin's Creed Syndicate was more focused with a smaller map and less distractions this would have been a very good game. instead you spend 90% of your time clearing the map of random things and when you come back to the story you've forgotten who you're helping and why. Less is more Ubisoft!

A good videogame
Just stared playing this videogame it's good up to now & U can swap between Assassin's Jacob & Evie. Its a very different setting set in 19th century London running through the cobbled streets & over the London roof tops. We get a grapple hook launcher & line going all Batman Arkham games grapple hook launcher. The costumes look good like the long robes blended in with Victorian styles but U still get the Assassin's Creed hood & wrist blade that we have seen B4 in the Assassin's Creed games.

A Strong Return To Form.
Assassin's Creed: Syndicate.Format:PS4/X-Box One.PS4 Review.Developer: Ubisoft.Synopsis.In 1868, at the tail end of the Industrial Revolution, with the Assassin Brotherhood all but eradicated, twins Jacob & Evie Frye leave Crawley for London & arrive to find a city controlled by the Templars, with both the Church & the Monarchy losing their power.Raised as Assassins to follow the Creed, Jacob & Evie aim to take back the city from Templar control by infiltrating & uniting London's criminal underworld, aided by notable figures of the era such as novelist Charles Dickens & biologist Charles Darwin.Timelord Review.'Assassins Creed: Syndicate' is a solid return to form after the disastrously horrendous previous game - Unity, thankfully this follow up features a stronger written plot, contains some great characters like Alexander Graham Bell, Charles Dickins, Charles Darwin, Florence Nightingale & Winston Churchill. The lead characters are both charming & likeable, the game features great graphics, a intriguing main story plot combined with interesting side quests that hold your attention plus great gaming mechanics via your combat which is easy to grasp as you upgrade your weapons, armour & characters with skill points. You play twins Jacob & Evie Frye who each have there own style of play, Jacob is more a brawler while Evie focuses more on stealth as the story links back to previous AC games, both these characters have there own personality with Jacob being slightly reckless & carefree while Evie is more rational & the brains behind the duo.The Dreadful Crimes quests see you turn detective as you attempt to solve a series of murders while the Jack the Ripper DLC gives additional value for money & around 6-8 hrs extra gameplay despite featuring a weak conclusion. There's at least 30 hours of gameplay here & even more for those who wish to find & unlock all the collectibles so gamers will certainly get there moneys worth.Overall then, 'Assassin's Creed: Syndicate' takes this franchise back to it's roots & in doing so delivers a action packed, exciting & enjoyable game similar to the earlier games in the saga that were so much fun to play.
