Great for people with plantar fasciitis!!!!
As a person with plantar fasciitis, I have struggled to find a shoe that is comfortable for my feet. These sandals changed that.I am going to give a bit of background on my feet and leg issues so that anyone who may also have these issues will know if these shoes will work for them.I have plantar fasciitis as mentioned above. These shoes really help with the pain caused by this. The hard sole along with the high arch help provide relief.I have an abnormally large Q angle. This contributes to the plantar fasciitis, causes more weight to be put on the inside of my knees, and causes my ankles to cave in. The high arch, while is does not fix this issues, it does help to correct some of the issues caused by it. It gives me better ankle support which helps with the knees and plantar issues.Next I want to talk about durability. These guys are so durable. They are my go to shoes for everything outside of work. I especially love wearing them while hiking. I have worn them in the water, over rough terrain. They are still comfortable while wet and dry quickly. They don't smell after getting wet and they are easy to clean.Last thing I want to touch on is a few things to know before buying. As with any new shoe, expect blisters. I did not get as many as I though I would although I did get some in a place I did not expect, the arch of my foot. Because of the arch support, you will be putting more weight on your arch meaning you may get blisters. If yo u don't wear the sandals for a while and go back to wearing them, you may get blisters on your arch again. Also because of the added weight to the arch, my arch did hurt for a little bit when I started wearing them. I would notice the pain a few hours into wearing the shoes. Eventually my feet got use to this shift in weight and it no longer.Another thing is for you to get the benefits of the shoe, you need for it to fit snugly. Your toes and heel will be close to the ends of the shoes. This is what you want. Thanks for reading and I hope this helps!

Best sandals!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Chaco sandals! They are SO comfty and cute! I have wide feet and struggle with finding shoes sometimes, but the straps are lose enough that it is not a problem! One thing you need to consider is that they have the arch very pronounced, so if your feet tend to be on the flatter side these might not be right for you! Just be aware of that; otherwise they are perfect!

I think these may be my favorite Chaco yet
I have been wearing Chacos since they were invented. After the factory move to China I went through a couple of bad pairs that didn't last nearly as long as my first American made pair (they lasted almost 7 years with frequent abuse). When this latest pair arrived my expectations were lower and there were some initial issues. One being when the shoes are machined and likely when they are exposed to heat in storage in large warehouses they bend in on themselves. When I first put them on, I thought, "Crap, I can't wear these." After some simple/careful bending and out stretching of the sole, these now fit like a dream. The strap closure molding had initially been rubbing my feet in a bad way. Now they fit like a dream and felt like they broke in faster than my last pair. The straps are long on my skinny feet but alas, this isn't a new issue. I just let em drag. The red color pattern is pretty cute and versatile as I had been a solid black only thus far. We shall see how the soles do. This isn't Vibram so again, my expectations are in line with that fact. I figure I will re sole them with Vibram when this sole wears out. For a woman with narrow feet and a high arch, theses sandals are my go to. I will likely be buried in my Chacos.

Follow directions for loosening & tightening before putting on.
At first it felt like they were too tight for my foot to fit in the sandal. Then I read the instructions that came in the box as to loosening and tightening the straps. After following the instructions, it was fine putting them on. They are fairly sturdy. I have to say they have helped when walking--my knees (which are shot) and the bunion on my right foot. My foot with the bunion didn't hurt while walking in these, and my knees felt much better. Good support.

Old stando
Have previously purchased this style of Chacos and they are great - rugged, comfortable, provides support for your foot, and you can even throw them in your washing machine. Just a great sandal but becoming more and more difficult to locate.

support is great
I had read the reviews on this product. I had to order one to see how it fit and if I like the styling. If you like a sandal with reinforced straps and not have to adjust, then this is not the sandal for you. i really like the support of the sole. It was very sturdy and grippy on the bottom, what i was looking for, however the strapping system/style was not to my liking. Somewhat narrow straps felt floppy across my foot and I would have to readjust each time I would have put them on. I return and Amazon refunded my money quickly.

Classic sandal
This sandal style has been around for many years and I have worn these for a long time. I finally needed a new pair. These come in wide widths that are actually wide, which is what I need. They are incredibly durable and are ok in water. These sandals have a very distinct arch built into the footbed, so be aware of that. For me, that’s great but if you don’t get the right size it may bother you. They need to fit so your big toe is all the way to the front of the sole, at least for me. The straps are fully adjustable but it takes some time to get them exactly in the right position. Be patient. These sandals are heavy and clunky. They last forever

Just as I remember
Had a few pairs of chacos back in the day and decided this summer was the time to get a new pair. Same great shoes. Takes a few tries to get the straps right but super comfy.
