This item costs more than others on here, but you can compare the weight to see that this fabric is heavier than others. The quality of the fabric and suction cups is excellent.We have plantation blinds, so this fit under the blinds and was not visible, preserving the look and decor of the room. Kept out the hot sun very well.If you have a window that opens up and down, you can open your window without having to take this down. My window opens horizontally and the suction cups blocked it - so it would need to be taken down whenever I wanted to fully open the window. For this reason it did serve my purpose I bought it for, but it is a great product otherwise.
