What a great tool!!
I bought this to cut through ceramic wall tile when doing a bathroom re-plumbing job in a former rental property. The previous owners did a hack job on the tub/shower so we had to convert to a new single lever faucet. This hole saw worked amazingly well and made a super clean cut. Things you NEED to know. There is no way to freehand this hole saw, you need to get the guide this company sells to hold it centered until you get the hole going. Otherwise you will skate it across the tile and really scratch things up. Trust me, I tried it. Second, DO NOT use this without cooling water. This is a two person job, one runs the drill the other keeps a trickle of cooling water running on the saw blade. Lastly, common sense! You will be pouring water on a metal saw blade attached to a metal drill chuck attached to a drill motor. I used a cordless drill so as not to get electrocuted....:)

They work!
These really worked nice. I only needed to cut a few holes. I think you could really cut quite a few holes with these if you keep the water flowing while cutting. I cut through porcelain tile in under 1 minute using my drill press with tile submerged under water. No problem keeping whole saw centered while cutting using drill press. This was a concern as there is no pilot hole. these worked an order of magnitude better than expected. I purched one to see if they were any good then purched a set plus the 3 1/8. I would highly recommend these. They cut just as good as the $56 for a single hole saw that I purached. May not last as long as the $56 one, but then I also only needed to cut 3 holes for this bathroom project. The harbor freight hole saw could not cut through a single piece of porcelain tile. These are even cheaper than harbor freight and the work very well.

Very Highly Recommend
This went through my ceramic tile floor like butter. If you are buying this, hopefully you realize to use it properly you have to keep it cool with water. A Dixie cup is plenty. It worked perfectly for 4 holes in a row.

Surprisingly good
I worried that the price was low for the size saw but need not have concerned myself. Most of the reviews were very good and helped pave the way for my purchase. The saw worked very well and fast. Took two to make the process smooth, as one reviewer described. One person to make the cut, the other to spray water to keep the saw cool. Completed in 30 seconds(?) No regrets.

this works!
I bought this to put holes in ceramic tile for can lights. I did not get the guide. the guide uses suction to hold in place and this tile had a textured surface. I cut a pattern hole in 1/4 fiber cement board and clamped that to the tile, wet it and used a cordless drill on the low speed setting and effortlessly drilled two perfect holes. don't hesitate to purchase this. it works

Great, economical bit for drilling through hard porcelain
Used this bit to drill a hole for a shower diverter in 3/8" thick HARD porcelain. Performed perfectly. I was able to use a drill press and created a dam with plumber's putty to hold water around the bit during the entire process. Take your time and you've got a perfect hole in no time. The porcelain I'm working with is very hard and difficult to work with, but this bit did the job.

Decent hole saw for the money.
Works well drilling through standard floor tile. Keep wet, use light pressure and take your time and you'll get a clean hole. Can't comment on durability as I've only used once ao far.
