Q: The description states "huge" 1 oz bottle. 1 oz is not "huge". the pic indicates 1 oz. ...is this a typo? is this bottle really 4 oz?

It is not right to show a picture of a 4oz bottle when the listing is for a 1 oz bottle, I don't give a fig how good it is. It is visually misleading and should be changed. And even if their 1 oz bottle is manufactured to appear as a 4 oz bottle in photos it is still misleading. For that would mean the cap on a 1 oz bottle would be pretty small if it were as the photo shows.

Q: Is this a good oil for soap and safe on skin?

It is safe on skin but the smell does not last long. Not Good for soaping.

Q: Is this cosmetic grade? Since it is 100% neroli with mo carrier oil i would hope it is.

Please do not use this on your skin or for therapeutic or cosmetic purposes. As a room fragrance its ok because it is a blend of synthetics which recreate the smell. Pure neroli that is quality is extremely expensive because of the need to hand pick thousands of pounds of flowers with appropriately timed harvesting to make a small amount of truly quality essential oil. therapeutic grade is a marketing ploy, and this company (artizen) has no business using that term.

Nearly all 100% essential oils are too strong to use directly on the skin. They need to first be diluted in a skin safe carrier oil such as sweet almond oil, sunflower oil, grapeseed oil, etc. Do an internet search for your particular oil and the term "dilution %" to find out how diluted it should be. For use by a healthy adult, the typical recommended solution rate is usually in the range of 2% to 10%. Many dilution calculators will also give you easy conversions, such as X number of drops to a teaspoon or tablespoon of carrier oil.
