These are cheaper than some of the other "big brands" for high top gym trainers.There's pretty much no cushioning so you always feel connected to the ground, far superior to deadlifting with socks as you get a similar feel without the danger of a lack of grip.The only issue I would say is that if you have reasonable sized ankles (i.e. you're not a giant) then you have to do the velcro pretty tight. This wears away pretty quickly. It doesn't ruin the shoe, I've had mine for 18 months and they're still comfortable to wear, it just makes them look a bit more used.

iv had these shoes for about almost 1 year now. I like this shoe as the design is right up my alley. comfortable and fit me very well.Only negatives I have with this shoe is the following:if u do not tighten the velcro a lot I found my ankle would come off from the bottom of the shoe, especially when doing calf raises I would feel my ankle come up a lot. only noticed this recently as I broke my foot so I could not hit legs for a long time or well stand on it. but since I used it on my left foot it has shown more wear than the right, which is obviously understandableon the sole at the back of the shoe, I found it has given in. I can push the sole into the shoe and it has like folded into the shoe, but as I don't notice it tbh really at all. it's more of a visual thing. this happened pretty early on from when I got the shoesat the tiptoes of the shoe where the sole and the actual shoe connect it has come apart on the left shoe but the right one is fine.I only use these in the gym as it is super uncomfortable walking for a long time and standing on stones is not the best.in a few places, the stitching at the back has started coming off.I love the design of this shoe I just wished a bit better materials were used
