I used this to make pleco caves and it was perfect. But I would recommend more time in the oven.

This clay was so fun for my children (ages 2-6) and I. The consistency is thicker than playdoh and yet it is very moldable and bakes just like the package says. The kids were so proud of their baked, finished products! We purchased this to make clay necklaces to use with essential oils. If you are looking for clay that will absorb an oil-this is NOT it. Our essential oils just rolled off and wouldn't absorb. We purchased a clay without polymer that worked much better for absorbing essential oils.

Very simple and easy to make shapes with this. It works like any other clay or playdough, and is reasonably stiff. Bakes for a short period, and you're all set. I was able to make a couple of figurines and aquarium caves out of it, which worked well (though my technique needs some development :)

I've only had this clay for about a week. I watched a few YouTube videos on how to use it before purchasing. I create miniature gardens and I saw where a woman had made miniature flowerpots using polymer clay and the plastic trays that come in candy assortments as a mold. I wanted something a little larger and happen to come across a collapsible ice tray that look just like flowerpots.Premium Collapsible Silicone Easy-Pop No Twist Ice Cube Tray - Makes 10 Ice Cubes So I started looking for a polymer clay. I was so pleased to find some in a terra-cotta color. I knew that this would simplify the process because I wouldn't need to paint anything. It took several tries but I finally turned out 2 pots that were acceptable. I'm hoping to improve as I go along. This stuff is pretty fun

As in most of my reviews you'll note that I am a wand maker, and no; not Harry Potter, the real thing. Sculpey Polymer Clay plays a large part in many of my wands allowing me to seamlessly add gems and crystals as well as being able to sculpt various decorations. Great product and comes in a ton of colors. I work pretty exclusively with wood, and by using the Polymer Clay Glue Sculpey will stick to just about any surface.

I bought this because I use Scupley WHITE clay a lot & have never had bad results, so I figured this Terra Cotta would be good too. I was wrong. Photo description shows BROWN colored clay but you will receive a very ORANGE color clay. Another problem is this...it was soft coming out of the package, but kneading it made ot very sticky...and then rolling it made it so crumbly it started to fall apart, leaving crumbs everywhere. Usually clay can be hard & crumbly, or soft & sticky....but in this case it was BOTH???!!! I have used Sculpey clays a lot...but this one is a puzzle & a big dissapointment.

Bought this for practise in bead making as it was by far the cheapest. It works well, holds shape when sculpted, and conditions easily. It also makes for good 'bead cores' if you want to save money on the more expensive colours and specialized finishes of polymer clay, and want to save these as 'veneers' for wrapping around the cores. Haven't tried painting or polishing it yet but I quite like the rough finish of terracotta anyway.
