Sculpey Premo Classic Mixing Color sampler pack, 12 colors, Polymer Oven-Bake Clay, Non Toxic, 12 oz., Great for jewelry making, holiday, DIY, mixed media and home décor projects

This pack has a nice variety of colors to start with. Unfortunately, I received two browns instead of a black and a brown, but that's alright. You can find individual blocks at a craft store. Anyway, the clay is very easy to condition. Mine came perfect. Just a little kneading and you're ready to go. I recommend this to all beginners, especially if you plan on selling your creations. (Images are creations I made as soon as I opened the package. I never touched polymer clay before, lol.)

I was anticipating a harder clay since many commented that Premo would be harder but it's not at all hard. After conditioning it in my hands it turns very soft. Actually, over conditioning it will make it extremely soft. It was my daughter first time to use this product, and it was very easy for her to handle and work with. Would buy again.

I got this starter set to try to make cute fantasy figures. From this one pack (see photo) I did succeed in making three little curled up dragons, two unicorns, and seven unicorn head ornaments. The clay is stiff and needs to be worked with warm hands, but then it become pliable and easy to shape. I also found it easy to mix colors. Nothing burned when I baked the pieces, even though the pieces had different thicknesses throughout so I baked them long enough for the thicker parts, the thin parts didn't become burned. The baked clay seems to be strong, not brittle. I would buy this kit again to make more critters.

The media could not be loaded. The set had all the colors needed, and was packaged well. Just look at this little cutie I was able to make, with LOTS of clay left to make a whole village of mice! :D

These colors are wonderful for mixing other colors. Great for newbies to clay and super fun to experiment with.

The media could not be loaded. I haven’t worked with Sculpey in years and this worked well for my laughing fish earrings.Follow the instructions and get an oven thermometer to check your oven is indeed the correct temperature. Even my oven was off 10 degrees.

I like to use this brand when making earrings because the color stays really well and it's not too sticky.
