Seems like a very well made product
Seems like a very well made product. My only surprise when I received it was the size. It’s like a full size airport windsock. From the picture I was expecting it to be smaller like some others I’ld seen. Good product though.

Fabric is ridged. But is was a cheap purchase so...
This is my first wind sock. From my understanding of the principle of a wind sock is to fold at the designated rings on the sock to indicate wind velocity. Sock never really folds at the rings but angles down in a moderate wind. I plumbed the pole during installation so I am not sure why the sock won't function as designed. Maybe it needs a break in period to loosen it up but for now it is either straight out or angled down. You can still see wind direction by looking at it but velocity is hard to estimate. This is a cheap alternative to a weather station with a wind velocity instrument. I might try a different sock.

The quality and assembly are terrible and will not stand to strong wind -
I do like the color, the reflective bands and ease of installation, but the quality is poor. This is a "Wind Sock" its only purpose is to stand up to the wind, with how the straps are put on the will quickly pull apart - I give it one month. We are going to have big winds tomorrow night, we shall see!

After 3 months I noticed the middle starting to fray and separate.
