this was an amazing insight into the highs and lows of being a hollywood A list ''friend to the stars'' it shows how easy it is to get wrapped up in the underbelly of hollywood and how quickly you can go from top to bottom

The stories are very moving, and provide many insights into the sick and predatory mentality of many of the elite movers and shakers in Hollywood. The only reason I have not given this book 5 stars is because of the choice of the editor to present these testimonies within the framework of feminism. This is too limiting, for this is not just about men abusing women. We now know that in Hollywood, young boys fall victim to sexual abuse as well (see Coreyography: A Memoir by Corey Feldman). Sexual abuse (or elite ritual abuse) would have been a better framework to present these shocking testimonies. Since 1995 it has also become clear that some women are specifically groomed or raised from childhood to be used as sexual slaves by an international elite. It's not a matter of just ending up in this trade "by accident." Nothing is left to chance. This is referred to as beta or sexual programming. A series of high class prostitutes providing sexual services to the rich and (mostly) famous of Los Angeles, take the money and spill the goods on a number of their clientele. There's a lot of drugs, bubble baths, fine lingerie, sexual euphemism and the occasional kink. And regret. It was fun while it lasted, but I was left a little... empty.

Nope.

The best aspect of this book is that it names and shames and reveals the life of fame, excess, and I dare say mental health problems experienced by the stars of Hollywood. The book was quite eye opening and I now find myself looking at some celebs and wondering if they have a hotline to a callgirl service and I also wonder what they 'like'. Hollywood is painted as a tough and unforgiving town in this book.I found some of the revelations in the book racier and more graphic than I had expected. Details were details, not glossed over. This book is fast food for anyone interested in Hollywood or celebrity and fancies a bit of a 'perv'. Fair play to the women for writing the book in the first place.

Read this book years ago and decided to reread. Very interesting read. Names, names!

This book delivers what it promises--stories about the rich and famous. I enjoyed reading them all. I wasn't looking for the prose of famous writers, but a good tale to tell, and the ladies do this. It's a book I re-read.

I really like this book. It has great insighful stories of behind the scenes Hollywood.

wow oh wow. this is a book for adults...if you know what I mean. dirty secrets from your stars...easy read and so interesting. you will never see the stars in the same light.lol lol lol

This was a quick, trashy type of book. The descrition says it all, and its isexactly that. 4 previous call girls cashing in by telling story's about theclients they had that were celebrity. As i said, its trashy, and perhapsmostly sad, and or depressing, knowing that nothing has or will changeabout what is contained within this read.
