Good precision for the price. Draft shield is useless.
I tested the scale with a calibration weight set (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B08FMWCXMY), and I have no high accuracy weights to compare against, so some of the inaccuracies in my measurements may be due to the calibration weights. I'll outline below how I tested the scale, and allow the reader to judge for themselves if this is sufficient precision for their use.- Calibrated to 20g using the weight that came with the scale- Tested both 20g weights from 19pc calibration set and both read 20.000g- Tested both 20g weights together, measured 40.009g- Treated the 20g weight placed on different corners of the metal plate. I measured 20.000g, 19.986g, 20.010g, 19.972g.- Placed 20g back on center and it read 20.000g.- Placed black bowl that came with the scale, tared, then weighted the scale's calibration weight 20g. It read 20.000g. Everything following this point is measured with the bowl unless otherwise specified.- 100mg reads 0.093-0.095- 50mg reads 0.045-0.047- 20mg does not register (i.e. reads 0.000)- Added second 20mg (40mg total) and still didn't register- Added 10mg (50mg total) and still reads 0.000- Removed everything from the bowl and it reads -0.048 to -0.050- Tared with the bowl- Tried putting the same set of small weights on and removing them again, but nothing is registered this time at all.- Placed 50mg weight, read 0.050-0.051- Added 20mg (70mg total), read 0.072-0.073- Added 20mg (90mg total) read 0.98-0.101- Removed 50mg (40mg total), read 0.045-0.048- Removed 20mg (20mg total), read 0.023- Removed 20mg (nothing left on scale except bowl), read 0.000- 200mg, read 0.197-0.200- Second 200mg, reads 0.200- 500mg reads 0.506-0.507- Checked the 20g calibration weight that came with the scale again. Read 20.000- Checking all the larger weights now: - 1g reads 1.000 - 2g reads 2.008 - Second 2g reads 2.000 - 5g reads 5.000 (Sometimes 5.005 briefly) - 10g reads 10.013- Empty bowl: 0.000 (did not tare yet)- Checked calibration weight again. Read 20.000- Empty bowl is still 0.000- Closed lid without adding anything to the bowl, the scale reads -0.036- Opened lid, scale reads 0.000- Closed lid again, scale reads -0.034. I verified that the bowl isn't touching the lid. But if it were, I would expect the weight to go up when the lid is down.- Tared the black bowl with the lid closed. Scale reads 0.000.- Opened lid, scale reads 0.023- Placed 1g weight and closed lid, scale reads 0.974- Repeat the above with the rest of the weights: - First 2g reads 1.982-1.986 - Second 2g reads 1.963-1.965 - The larger weights don't fit under the lid - 500mg reads 0.483- Calibration weight still reads 20.000 with the lid open

Doesn't work for micro measurements.
It does NOT work for measuring fine powder or grains. You can calibrate the scale, tare the scale, and start loading your grains on the weight, but it remains at zero. Until you get up to 50 mg or so. Then it starts to measure. Almost as if it doesn't get triggered by anything less than 50 mg.

Misreadings up to .015, which is a refund for me
Was hoping for accuracy, it's a damn microscale, it's entire purpose is to measure within the specified micro range. It just reads differently based on positioning, which I think is an indicator of cheap design.

Not exactly accurate, feels cheap, but good enough
It often goes off by a few hundredths of a gram. The only way I can tell is that the 20 gram weight that comes with it over or under measures by a bit. It's easily reset with a tare on zero and a recalibration. For my purposes it's totally fine. 0.003 grams isn't going to affect things one way or another for me, but deep inside I'd prefer that it be exactly accurate all the time.It also has a cheap feel to it. I'm surprised all of the reviews rave about it. It's fine, but not worth five stars in my opinion.

Precise and easy to use
I bought this scale because I need to divide the medicine into 1/4 for my puppy. My puppy is too tiny and she can only take a quarter of a chew at a time. I'm worried that if I didn't break it accurately enough, which would affect its health. So I brought this scale. The speed of delivery is fast unexcepted. I got it on the third day after I placed the order. And the scale is very precise. It can measure a gap of a milligram. I am so happy that my problem is solved. But when I weight two chews separately, I found that they are 2 grams different. That means even I divide each into 4 pieces very precisely, the puppy still takes different weight medicine. That is funny. Maybe I am over-worried. But the scale is really cool. I will let my kids use it to do some chemistry experiments.
