Bought this light as I needed 1 that seemed from the reviews, to be a very good quality light . Paid a lot to get it imported here to Brazil . OK , 1st . it arrived and opened it up to check it shipped having no damage ,check . All functioned as it should and I was impressed at the level of light I saw ,check .Then the next day I started to attach the base ,,,, Well , imo , poorly designed . IMO , the screw n base should be on the out-side/bottom of the plate and not the inside. It could be very difficult for someone with 'big" hands to tighten the handle without scaping you knuckles . It is not well placed in any consideration , imo . But that's a small issue and doesn't take away very much from the overall of the light .The biggest "problem" was last night and the reason I'm writing this review .I've had construction workers useing it for the last couple of days ,as they have been working into the night . Well , last night when they finished and returned to light to me ,when turning it off , the worker got shocked . So I then tried it . I got shocked. . NOT GOOD AT ALL . it seems that the switch is faulty and not as good as it needs to be . Although it has a plastic protector covering , it can be and sometimes does not fully engage into either position . It is a 3 point selector 30 watts-off-60 watts . It appeared not to be (to me at least) a Well made switch from the time I checked it from the original delivery .Now it is possible , The location of this switch is causing it to be difficult to make it function correctly . I can't say ,but it is possible . It is difficult to get to/reach, because of it's location . It should be placed on top of the light for easy access , . But it's not . It and the tightening screw are both placed in ,imo the worst place it could have been .Hopefully those looking to purchase this light will consider this .I do not like giving these types of reviews , but I think with Electricity involved , it is important . Water proof ??? I wont ever use it outside ,if it looks like it will rain. Inside I'd be very careful around any liquids .Otherwise , it's a very bright , nice light . Everything else is very good about it Well worth the price , if it did not have this 1 BIG problem ,imo .Since it is not worth the $$$ to send it back I will try and figure out what I can do to "fix" this issue .

As a house painter I've always used the halogen work lights in any room I'm working in. I finally invested in 3 of these little work lights and used them all last week in a very dimly lit house and WOW what a huge difference they made on the project. First of all, they never get hot, just warm to the touch. The light they emit is very color-neutral. Since the 96 LED's are not a single light source like a halogen bulb, there isn't a hard shadow edge on the wall, but a diffused fade instead, which is a nice little extra. They're so bright and use so little energy I can put all three in one small room and not blow the circuit breaker. But my favorite thing about these over halogens is the difference in heat output. Halogens heat up a space very quickly and get hot enough to burn or melt anything they come in contact with (skin, plastic, etc). I simply LOVE these lights. What a value!!!

Bought 2, both works well.Brightness has low/high, which is awesomeOn/off is well sealed, also the has a rubber gasket on the middle, made it water resistant.Price is very reasonable.Material has good quality material.I would definitely recommend this.Durability is very good!Used it almost every night for 2 months now.I can’t really say something bad about it.Kudos to this led work light.

OK, first I want to begin by saying that this light is POWERFUL. Think of it like the portal to heaven opening up, and its blinding white light beams down into your home. When you run this thing on full power, you feel like you need to wear sunglasses its so bright!Taking this thing out of the box, I immediately noticed how big it is, its bigger then any of the smaller LED work lights that you can buy. From what I could tell, the paint job on all the metal parts seems to be brand new and shows no signs of use, I did buy a new product afterall! However, there are noticeable scratches on the backface where the product information is. Additionally, there were fingerprint smears on the front lens, which I had to clean before use. If this is indeed a new product, then there is some miner QC issues going on.Assembly is super simple. Only one fastener is required to assemble the base to the light, using the included knob bolt. This light can be tilted up or down, and can swivel 360 degrees. It uses a 3-prong electrical cord, so this won't work in a 2-prong outlet or extension cord without using an adapter first. Also, it uses a 3-way switch, the center position is off, one side is LOW power, and the other side is HIGH power.When you put the light in LOW mode, its not that impressive, probably around the 2500-lumen range. But when you put the light in HIGH mode, its 6000-lumen's in your face! You better grab your sunglasses cause you just might need them, don't burn your retinas looking directly at the light either! And I wouldn't stand directly in front of the light too long with bare skin exposed, you might end up getting a sun tan.I ran it on HIGH for about 10-minutes, and the most it got was warm in the heat sink, didn't even get hot. The cooler the LED's are able to run at, the longer they will last, so it does appear to have a quality heat sink, that is big enough to handle the load. This unit feels very durable to me, I think it will last a long time. And it doesn't really weigh a lot either, unlike halogen lights which can get very heavy.If you need a powerful light to illuminate a whole area, either for doing work, or for emergencies, this would be the perfect light. Its certainly not the cheapest of lights, but for the money, you really do get what you pay for. Having said that however, if you just need a little light for doing work inside your house, you can probably save some money and buy a smaller light for 20 bucks. But if you really need heaven's light knocking on your door, this light will certainly get the job done. Highly recommended 5 out of 5 stars!

I got this as a gift for my hubby and he loves it. It is excellent portable work or shop light. It is very bright & got a really good quality. Highly recommended & indeed value for the money.
