stone river knife
this knife is a piece of junk made in china.i have owned mine for two weeks and with normal use i have a dull broken blade.there is no bolster so the blade is loose.once the knife loses the factory edge thats it.i am displeased will seek some recourse.when i saw made in china on the box i was not happy.i have put it back in the box it came in and put my gerber back in my pocket.merry christmas to me.i am sure i wont get a refund because the blade broke while attempting to hone it with a ceramic sharpener.buyer beware...that at least made me feel a little better about tossing ninety bucks in the trash..not

Stunningly Simple yet Elegant Design
This knife is absolutely beautiful. The immediately recognizable lack of weight in the hand is fascinating. It is the lightest folding knife I've ever owned, despite its adequately sized blade. It is the Zirconia (Zirconium-oxide) composition that results in a blade that is light beyond what you would believe possible, and the same holds true for the complete titanium handle. Superb craftsmanship went into making this, and it is unmistakably relevant. The blade maintains an edge amazingly long. It sharpens to an edge that far surpasses any steel-bladed knives I've owned, even those with high quality steels like AUS8A. The action is incredibly smooth, with a glossy, black, studded thumb-assist which allows one-handed deployment with ease. The deep-pocket clip is incredibly sturdy, and for the first time with any knife I've owned, it hasn't loosened up with time. The pattern lasered into the grip and blackened blade is refreshingly stylish. It definitely lends the knife an air of sophistication the way it catches and reflects the light. I've purchased many knives in my line of work, a few of my favorites are - Cold Steel, CRKT, Benchmade, Gerber, and Buck. The design of this knife, simple yet elegant and light is perfect for daily carry. Manufactured from the highest quality materials available, this knife is undeniably unique. You won't find anything that approaches its quality for the price in the market today. As it is, ceramic folding knives are incredibly rare, and to find one so well crafted is an unexpected, yet welcome surprise. If you're looking for something truly unique and classic, the kind of knife that will last a lifetime and exemplify excellence, I'm glad to say for once that this is it.

Nice, but not practical
This knife is beautiful and elegant... but not durable. i feel like if i use this knife it will snap in half.. but at the same time it feels like it won't. but i still am not using it. it comes in a nice presentation box, and the knife itsself is nicely made you can tell.. but it's just not a knife to me. it doesn't have the boldness a good knife should have and it feels just like a peice of plastic; which it is.. but it means it can't compete with steel. this knife isn't ment for everyday carry.. i would keep it on a shelf. i gave it 2 stars because of its good looks and decent sharp edge. thats another thing.. it aint that sharp.. and it was my first ceramic knife. i certainly won't buy another ceramic knife, let alone from stone river. they're simply not as sharp as they claim unless you have them professionally honed. stay with steel... its the best. oh this knife is also produced in China.. haha. don't waste $99.. get a cheaper ceramic it's probably just as nice.
