For stirrers everywhere
These magnetic fleas (as we used to call 'em in the lab) do the trick! I'm using them to mix up artist paints, some of which are likely to go lumpy overnight if not mixed thoroughly. Of course, you'll need to get yourself a magnetic stirrer to use them with but this need not break the bank. In case you are still wondering what to do with these things, you'll set your stirrer on a level surface and plug it in - then you'll put your container of lumpy stuff on top of the stirrer (make sure that your stirrer is set to zero or things could get exciting) - drop in your chosen flea and then ramp up the revs - your flea will rotate, agitating the mixture. Usually, the fleas would be short bars like a couple of this collection but here we also have a large round one with spokes poking out of it, a small ball and a cruciferous one plus a long rod with which to retrieve them with. More than you're ever likely to need!

Good Magnet Options
I purchased this set mainly for the larger magnet, however the mixer I have is not an expensive one and it did not generate a full vortex, but I think it has to do with the magnet strength of my mixer. On my mixer, if I went more than 1/3 it would fling, so I'm sure that was the issue. Jusy something to think about when you purchase this, or consider your magnet base. With that being said, the smaller pills and cross worked as I was hoping the large wheel would... full fortex, and plenty of mixing action. I was able to put on full power and the magnets were able to stay in place perfectly. Although I do not mix on full power, it was just a means to test the magnet strength. At 1/3 power, the magnets were able to generate a full vortex and when doing a dye test, the water instantly changed color which indicates good agitation.I used my Largest beaker 2000 ml and filled to 1200 ml (which is about my normal batch amounts) and these magnets worked great. The retrieval magnet is a big plus.If I were to need another set, I would consider this set, however, I think it is slightly over priced so a comparable product with lower cost would most likely draw the business. Over all I would recommend this product.
