after reports of lead and unacceptable levels of pesticides in some supplements, I decided to look to see who manufactured the product, and in which country. It said "maufactured for vitablossom" but didn't say by whom, so I decided to chuck them out. i feel a bit mean giving a one, but I want to know where they were manufactured, and where the berberin and silymarin was sourced.

I bought these, as I thought it would be a very good value for money. BUT the capsules are not 1000mg each, 1 portion is 1000mg, which is 2 capsules. Hence this product is not cheaper compared to similar ones. I also prefer pure Berberine. The 2nd ingredient adds no benefits.

I have struggled with insulin resistance for a long time. Sixty years old, female, can look at food and gain weight. I checked out the ingredients in Vitablossom and saw that berberine was a main ingredient. So I did some research. I decided to give it a try. I continue to watch my intake of calories and carbs, while walking 30 minutes 5 days a week. Just had a blood test and LDL was down. Weight is down almost 20 pounds. I can't say if berberine is why; but it is the only thing I've done differently.

May be it is just me, it didn’t do anything at all. I am going back to Pro Natural Health. It is a lot better in controlling sugar spikes. Too bad they didn’t sell it in Amazon anymore, that’s why I give this a try.

You nay never know whether these have had any effect upon your health. Quite expensive.
