A males perspective
This is where I think Jamie is super clever with allowing us access to his personal moments. We learn Travis's train of thought, how he rationlise's situations and how he defends his actions. The meaning behind his quick temper , the road in his head that creates his acute jealously and the path that buries him in sadness when he cant express himself the way he wants to.Reading from his perspective really gives us an insight into the other side of the book, it let's us see and understand how certain moments and situations can be interpreted by different people and different genders.I really like what Jamie has done here , the story goes way deeper than we assume via the first book and having it from Travis's point of view really shows that their love story wasnt just a quick rush of emotions. We learn to understand his love and adoration for Abby, how in his dark tunnel she is the light...even if she sometimes flickers to confuse his train of thoughtAbbey and Travis are too alike for their own good but also very different however it goes to show that it's not really a bad thing to be over compatable when it comes to love.

The item came in perfect condition and safely packaged
Item description:The item came in perfect condition and safely packaged. The quality of the hardcover was strong and protected the book nicely. The paper inside is thick and good quality. The writing size and font is easy to read and overall the item is really good.Story rating:It’s important to note though that this book should absolutely be read AFTER Beautiful Disaster. It is not a stand alone, but rather it completed the story of Beautiful Disaster allowing you to experience the full extent of Travis’ all-consuming love for Abby. OMG this book was amazing. Even though I was reading the same story being in Travis head was an amazing experience. 5+ stars

Retelling of Beautiful Disaster from Travis' POV
For those worrying that you would need to read Abby's version of events first to fully understand what's happening, you don't.You can tell you have stumbled across a great author when they are able to make you cry, feel that kind of emotion for someone you have yet to form an emotional attachment to. But whilst reading the prologue. Yes the PROLOGUE! I was crying like a baby. On more than one occasion I was reduced to tears. The relationship between Travis and Abby isn't easy. In some places it isn't even pretty. The budding friendship is great, the steps to becoming more than friends is awkward, yet beautiful. What comes next is messy and emotional and this is one of the things I really love about Travis and Abby's relationship, the fact that it isn't perfect. They aren't perfect. Travis's reactions to some of the scenes are over the top, but when you can see inside his head you can understand why maybe he reacts a certain way.I loved the epilogue. To see their happily-ever-afters, its something we don't get to see very often and I think sometimes you need it. Now all that's needed is for me to go find my copy of Beautiful Disaster and read Abby's POV.

Oh Travis, Oh My
Travis Maddox is the kind of guy to do anything with everything he has. Why have one woman when you can try them all? His world is full of women, gambling and violence. But the side of him that few see is that he is incredibly loyal and protective of those he loves. He values family and never forget the promise he made to his mother on her death bed.Travis thought he had everything figured out and just the way he liked it. But then Abby came along and brought him to his knees.Together Abby and Travis burn hotter than an inferno and he makes it his mission to get her to fall for him. And when she does, everyone tells them the odds are not in their favour. How much love is too love? Is it possible to love someone too much? Can love itself be what comes between two people? We first fell in love with Travis and Abby in Beautiful Disaster. We were allowed a glimpse into this couples' lives and their hearts. This time we get to see how they fell in love from Travis's POV.Walking Disaster in itself was a good book. Travis has a quality about him that you can't help but fall for and like about him. But...unfortunately it fell a little flat for me.*ducks as Travis fans throw sharp objects*On one hand, I loved it, on the other I really didn't. Perhaps the problem was this book was so wildly anticipated and craved for by the masses that it would take a super-duper Iron Man of a book to not make it anti-climatic. There wasn't much to learn by reading Walking Disaster. It pretty much was Beautiful Disaster, just from Travis's POV. And also...it somehow made me really dislike Abby. The saving grace is the epilogue. I sort of wish the book started from there and then went on. But since it didn't, I can only cross my fingers that Jamie McGuire decides their story isn't finished yet and tells us a little more.

sorry half way through and not reading no more
I read beautiful disaster and really enjoyed it. I had already brought walking disaster so I started reading it. I am now half way through the book and I CANT read any more. It is unheard of for me to not finish a book in fact i can only think of one book in the last 2 -3 years since i got totally hooked on reading that i have not finished. I dont know why but I find it so hard to accept that she kept doubting his love over and over again and I suppose because I KNOW whats coming next in the story I have given up. I really, really loved Trav as a character but i am now half way through book and I am not going on. My husband said why dont i just read the last chapter but I dont even want to do that.
