My toddler loves this
I bought this for a number of different reasons. My toddler is currently learning how to count and recognize numbers, so this toy is perfect for that project. We are working on recognizing the balancing piece of it, but that just shows that this toy will last longer than a few months. The monkeys are a great addition, keeping my toddlers interest. Size is relatively small. Maybe a foot wide, so easy to store. Overall I think this was a good value, and I will be keeping this product.

Fun.
My 1 1/2 year old loves this. And she is now counting up to 5 already after using this product. I feel like the metal pins could be a little bit sturdier but aside from that it’s super educational and fun.

Lovely toy
Overall lovely toy package; I wish the scale a bit more heavy to make it more stable.

Good tool to introduce kids to the concept of Equivalence.
My 21 month toddler is already counting objects one by one reciting numbers all the way up to 20, but I can see he is doing it because he knows the sequence of numbers in series by memory rather than being able to identify a number and translating that to a quantity. I purchased this product to visually instruct and introduce him in the concept of equivalence between quantities and actual numbering symbols. The bright colored numbers excite him and he has a lot of fun grabbing the numbers and saying their names. It takes some effort to make him focus and pay attention, but after playfully variating my tone of voice he starts paying attention and responds to the fact that the balance lifts up once the number of monkeys on one side is the same as the number on the other side. This little and very clever physics detail in a toy is what I needed to indicate to him that they are both equal without needing for this toy to be electronic. I've had it for maybe over 2 months, and my baby asks for it every time he's having his meals by making monkey sounds. He sometimes drops the numbers from a height of 3-4 feet while on his highchair, and the numbers all have lasted multiple drops almost every day with no apparent visible damage. The weighing platforms or pans are removable and so far durable, and it's very easy to put together and put away on the same box. The monkey figurines are very adorable and incredibly sturdy, and honestly of the best quality alongside the numbers themselves. The only Con is the balancing mechanism is a little off and I can't seem to be able to calibrate it without risking breaking it which is why I didn't give all metrics a 5 star.Unfortunately he lost numbers 3 and 7 already, so I'm trying to use combination of 2+1 and 5+2 to replace these and continue showing him quantities. I haven't had the opportunity to use the flashcards, but perhaps in a few weeks once he is able to follow directions much quicker and more focused.
