pure plop black - swappable SATA HDD, SSD, enclosure, anodized aluminum, UASP support

It looks and worked great on my Samsung SSD Pro for a month and a half. The drive rattles a little bit. I put a piece of velvet tape on the inside wall of the case to fix that. Now it doesn't work right anymore. The enclosure restarts itself every few minutes. I tried it with different USB ports and tried putting my SSD in different enclosure. I understand that I might be unlucky and got the defective one.The worst part is I contacted the seller. It took them forever to answer every time. I have to send them an email to remind them. I told them in my first email I already tried everything before I sent them an email. Still, I got an email back to tell me to try again. I sent them an email back and say that I tried those and they didn't fix the problem. The drive has been working fine in the first month and the problem just started. I never got a reply from them.So if you are a lucky person and think that you will now have to talk to them, this is a good product. If you don't want to take a risk, just buy other enclosures.

I really appreciate the simplicity of this enclosure. You can't ask for more...no tools or drivers needed. Slide the SSD in and you're done. I wish PurePlop can make a thunderbolt drive like this.

I love the high quality and chipset of this simple but well designed device. Made of high grade metal it will last me for years of use.

I backed these guys on Kickstarter. It's too bad they went under. This thing is super handy and I use it at work all the time.

Sturdy, decent (and very pretty) build. But I should have read the dimensions before buying - it only accepts about a fifth of my SSDs.

What to say about the Plop?It is what it is, and it does what it says. A nice design feature (however) would have been to make the top 'slide off' to use it as a temporary dock for 9mm SSD, which is what I needed it for, and failed to read closely enough. My fault, not the Plop's.But oh yes, I gutted this puppy hard to make it do my bidding. NO REGRETS. Especially for that price.PROS:- It does a thing!- It likes smaller thingsCONS:- It doesn't do some things.- Big things frighten it

Didn't work at all. Tried 4 different drives. Concept is cool, but I'd try another product if you are considering this.
