Merchant GourmetWholewheat Giant Couscous 300 g (Pack of 6)

My supermarket used to sell these but has stopped in the last months & I have been trying to find giant wholegrain couscous for ages. Loved that I could get 6 boxes here - even gave a couple to my Mum who also was struggling to find them! Thank you :-)

Absolutely love this. Great texture and flavour. Often add to salads.

I've never had any other kind of giant couscous. I do love this, though. I do mine in a rice steamer, in the microwave, with herbs and oil and stock (and usually some mix of vegetables) and it comes out with a lovely texture. It doesn't go mushy. The grains have a nice 'bounce' to them. It takes flavours really well.

This is not like ordinary cous cous it is more like small spherical pasta - delicious with fish we ate it with Tuna steak and a tomato salsa

Very tasty when cooked with a little sesame oil, chopped peppers and some veg stock.
