The massive sparkle seen in this purple french hair barrette is due to the intense, crinkled dichroic art glass that lies just below the upper layer of smooth, crystal lear glass. Depending on the angle and lighting, you'll see purple with hints of silver or a deeper purple. The high relief bow shaped accents are a violet purple transparent glass, that add dimension. The dichroic glass I made it with, is known for it's brilliant color and flash, as well as the two-tone display of color. The shimmer from it is absolutely gorgeous.
