This thing does not work. Soon as it hit gravel below the surface it would not penetrate after 2 - 3 inches max. Not worth the money! It will hang on the board in my shed now looking for a use. Useless!

Rapide et efficace

I was getting sick of watching my aluminum and fiberglass driveway markers sag and drop over. When I tried to push them in the ground further, I ended up just repeating the process every week or so. I began searching for replacements that were sturdier, and wasn't getting beyond possibly making my own of wood, and painting them with reflective paint. Big job! Along came this suggestion (drill bit). It was easy to hook up with my electric drill, and I was able to bore a perfect-sized hole through mulch and frost. Now my markers look great, and seem destined to stay upright. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Right out of the box, this bit was bent and wobbly. For the price, I would expect a straight bit. Not sure how well you can see it in the picture, but I’ve put it up against a piece of angle iron so you can see that the issue is the bit, not my drill.On the plus side, it does drill holes without breaking (seven driveway markers drilled and installed so far).
