In the wildland fire world, there is often a balance you have to keep between comfort and safety. Synthetic materials like polyester are a bad idea on the fireline, meaning most guys either wear cotton underwear that chafe, or polyester underwear that are comfortable but unsafe around active flame. These merino wool underwear mean that I can have safety AND comfort, which is worth a TON. Plus, wool's natural odor-resistance is a big bonus when you're spiked out many miles from comforts like a washer. These underwear wore like iron but felt smooth and comfortable. Definitely worth the money, in my mind.

Fits as advertised. Icebreaker has been a go-to brand for me for years. Quality has gone downhill but it's still some of the best out there. Buy with confidence.

In my experience, they are thin and tend to ride up. For the price, this is just not acceptable in my opinion. Other pairs out their are cheaper and more comfortable so I will not buy any more of these.

Great undies, in the office or for workouts, they haven't let me down yet. Fave for putting on in the mornings.

I tried these a few years ago, disliked them, but I thought I'd try them out again since I think merino boxers are a great concept. Unfortunately, I have the same criticisms as previously: the legs are too short, too loose -- so they ride up, the waist band is slightly too tight, and it's also too narrow. That all adds up to boxers that don't stink and are soft, but they also fit very strangely (I'm tall and normal/thin build), and the waist band folds over constantly as my tiny gut comes out the top. It's an awkward feeling, and I guess less of an issue if you have close to zero body fat.

I wore these on a weekend backpacking trip. Worked as described. Comfy. No chafing. I bought a second pair.

They are comfortable, durable, never stink and don't shrink. I originally got them bc I started working a desk job and the cotton was too uncomfortable and was ichy, but when I started at home I just got a better chair but they are still worth it.
