Great customer service from CNPQY
After receiving this catch can I noticed that the internal baffle wasn't secured in any way and would be falling out every time the reservoir would be unscrewed and taken off. After explaining this to CNPQY, it became clear that an o'ring was missing, which keeps the baffle in place. They quickly send me an o'ring which arrived within 5 days from China. I'm very impressed with the fast and easy communication with CNPQY. The issue was resolved very quickly and I am very happy.A few notes on the catch can: It appears to be well made and the hose material is good (no cheap plastic hose). The o'rings are a bit tiny which may wear over time (competitor product don't seem any better). However, I like the valve feature mounted at the bottom of the can so you can drain it without unscrewing it.Overall it's a good value at half the price of other brands.

No paperwork!
There was absolutely no paperwork to explain how to install the catch can. Fortunately I was able to find a video online of someone installing a different can with a similar bracket. The biggest issue I have with this seller's product though is how they shipped it. They used the smallest possible box which meant the hose was literally folded in 3rds. The hose developed 2 deep kinks that I still haven't been able to get out. Since the functionality of a catch can is dependent on a vacuum pull these kinks will greatly reduce the effectiveness. I wound up buying a replacement hose at the hardware store instead of using their's.

make sure you have a good file and get some extra steel wool.
Ditch the hoses and most of the connections. Get what you need from Home Depot or here. On the main canister, file the flat side by the threads so you can get a better seal. I used Teflon tape and it was soaked with oil and I had a slight vacuum leak. As soon as I did that I stopped getting the oil leak and vacuum leak since now I could hear the vacuum in the hose. Used fuel line because it is stronger.Needed some fine-tuning and Teflon tape to get the most of the purchase but I got it to mount on my LS truck engine with only needing to buy a single bolt.

you can do this without instructions
2016 ram 5.7 hemi.i used blue locktite on all bolts and fittings.cut plastic line on the tag with a penastar.used 1/2 hoses.i didnt put clamps on yet,the old system mopar put on had none.with 45k on it it was sucking oil into intake.im not racing it,so this appears to work and ill check it at oil change.it only has media on one side, this is correct, once it dumps oil in bottom you want air to flow into intake.look at my pics and copy it.forget bad reviews it does what its designed to do.even my cover fits........Karens husband

no instructions.
biggest problem was no instructions. I put the lines on backwards and the check engine light came on. Checked fittings and switched lines. The light went off. So far so good.

Buyer beware
The seller needs to know this. The catch can inlet and outlet are flipped 180° compared to the diagram. If you install it the direction that their instructions suggest (which are virtually worthless) there is nothing keeping the stainless steel mesh from entering your intake. Luckily I’m somewhat knowledgeable about how a PCV system works or I wouldn’t have caught this. *SELLER* you need to address this issue before someone ends up with stainless mesh in their top end and subsequently blows up a motor.

Trash don’t buy it
Very poor quality all around.Hose ends do not fit, valve doesn’t fully close.Metal shavings and burrs everywhere. It’s junk and probably gonna through more trash into your engine than it keeps out.

Quality okay but....
Overall, the quality of the catch can is decent. However I was not impress with the O-ring it comes with, a bit distorted, no instructions attached, the bolt for the mounting bracket and catch can stay a bit loose (tried to tighten still stayed loose) and the OD of the metal cap that goes at the end of the hoses was the wrong size. I had to substitute them with hose clamps.
