Interactive Textbook: Life Science (Holt Science & Technology) 1st Edition

I use this in class to supplement, without the textbook. It is just enough to read to cover the basics with exvellent reviews at end of each chapter and good critical thinking questions. Pages are black and white and easy to add to their science notebook. Great if you are or aren't using a textbook. Highly recommend
