I live in a state with lots of lakes and loce fishing ! If I cant use live bate, it's very hndy to have a basic set of lures for fishing. This little kit was just that. It was a lot smaller than I was expecting it was going to be. But it definately had some good products in it that I would definately be able to use and of course I obviously will use them. There were a few of them though that I have absolutely no use for but that is okay, I can deal with that. The case that it all came in will be useful for time I would have to hike a little way from my vehicle, rather than carrying a large one along with me. I would be able to fit this one into my backpack or something, maybe even a pocket depending on what kind of pants an wearing and what size of pockets it has.

I'm not a fisherman by any means. I think I have been twice in my life. My son has expressed an interest in trying, so I purchased this lure set. For $11, it comes with a ton of pieces, many of which I have no idea what they are for! I think we'll probably just start with the plastic worms and hooks, and see if that maintains his interest if he doesn't catch anything. Overall, I am pleased with the quality and think it would be a nice gift for the beginning fisherman or a Cub/Boy Scout in your life!

If you need to put together a minimal set of fishing gear quick and cheap, a couple of different bundles like this are a way to go.
