I love the look of this knife holder. Keeps my knives out of a drawer and from being banged up against other items! It doesn’t take up much room so thats a huge plus for me.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband along with a set of knives. I was pleasantly surprised that all knives fit along both sides of the board really well and don’t wobble side to side. He and I are very happy with the purchase!

I've been looking for a magnetic option to replace two old Koosh blocks that are oddly shaped and I can't find replacement rods for. We don't have a great place to hang a magnetic strip around the cabinets that felt safe, so this option was really attractive.This particular model looks really good. The included docs clearly indicate a need to oil the wood, and after cleaning (there was a LOT of dust on the unit, like a LOT) and assembling, used Boos butcher block cream to condition it. The conditioner softened the coloration and made it look even better. Given you're going to be slapping metal against the wood pretty frequently, definitely recommend the conditioner, just like on my butcher block.The magnets are very strong. I would like a 3rd row, but the two rows hold all my smallest paring knives and all but my largest carving knife (the kids call it my meat sword), and if I wanted to hold the knife horizontally, this would work, but I prefer to put two pairs of scissors toward the bottom of the block.This looks great on the cabinet, replaced the old blocks perfectly and even gave me more storage space so I could take a few knives I had put into a drawer back out and we use them more now.Definitely recommend.

I love it. My knife block took up so much precious space. This stays in place. The knives don’t protrude from the bottom like the did in my knife block. There’s room for all my knives without overlapping or making sure they go in the right slot.The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the wood seems to be dry. I have to oil it with food quality mineral oil, but is that really a down side to keeping it looking good?👍Big plus… I always know exactly what knife I’m grabbing!Worth if you’re ready to give up the knife block but don’t want to hang them on the wall or the side of the fridge… or stick them in a drawer.As Miss Julia used to say, Bon appetit!

I purchased this item as a birthday gift for my husband. He is very happy with it. He had just purchased a set of chef’s knives and he says that the magnetic board was perfect for his knives. Before he put his knives on it, he followed the instructions on how to take care of the board. It is a beautiful addition to our kitchen.

This knife holder does what it's supposed to do. It was easy to assemble and it looks nice on our kitchen counter top. It holds about 8 knives, depending on size. It has rubber on the bottom so it doesn't slide on the counter top. That's a good thing and a bad thing. It can be bad when it's loaded with knives and you need to turn it in order to get to a knife on the back. You have to then pick it up. Well, if you pick it up when it's loaded with knives, you can cut your fingers. This issue would not be isolated to just this make model, but all knife holders of this style. I'd buy it again for sure.

Dont wait. This is perfect. After convincing my S/O we didnt need a stupid knife block that gets all gross and if you put wet knifes in it; it can and will grow bacteria and mold/mildew. We got this and never looked back. The convenience of sticking a knife to a magnetic strip, but with no hanging or mounting the strips. Plus for a couple years now have gotten asked where i got it on several occasions. 1000% worth it.

This morning when I went to make breakfast I noticed these black spots on it. They appeared overnight it seems and I can’t get them off no matter how much I scrub. So weird! I was using normal knives, nothing out of the ordinary.

This is great to hold all my knives in order from the paring knive to the carving knife IWould definitely recommend this
