not particularly strong or sturdy. They work themselves out of my hair too easily so I don't use them as an "anchor" for my bun. They seem to be fine for an accent piece, just not for a strong hold.

They come in a clear box for storage and the colors are beautiful! However, they are somewhat flimsy. The ends will bend as you are trying to put them through your hair. One of the hairpins arrived with the tines bent out of shape, and I was unable to get that one to stay in my hair. I got another pin to work in my hair and it had been holding it for 3-hours when I took the photo. The pins are only 4" long, which worked for my fine, thin, shoulder-length hair. If you have thick or long hair, these won't hold it in place.Update - As I have gained experience, I can now keep a bent one in my hair. Holds it better than a stick, I was able to keep one in while playing a very leisurely game of badminton.

They are really really beautiful but I’m still trying to get the hang of using them. My hair is pretty thick and they are a bit flimsy so I have a hard time getting my hair to stay in place with these but they weren’t very expensive so I’m not bothered by it

Not sturdy at all. Very flimsy. The prongs bend or break easily. These combs are too lightweight to really hold hair. I can usually hold my hair up with one French pin, but I need two or three of these.The patterns/colors are very pretty, though.

These are a lot of fun to use. The size is perfect for me - I have long hair, but it’s fine and thin so my twists aren’t very big. The plastic is sturdy and really important - I was using a metal version but discovered I was getting an allergic reaction on my scalp 😱 so tried these and no reaction at all, yay! It’s also so lightweight I barely notice it once my hair is up.The styles are really cute and easy to match with outfits. And finally, they were great for travel. I put three in my bag to vary with my outfits in a work trip.

4 inches. They are very FLIMSY. They are super bendy and flimsy due to this they won’t hold hair good. Keep having to re doo because they bend. Absolutely do not recommend don’t waist your money on these buy different ones

Flimsy, bendy, and too short. I tried using them as a hair pick for my spiral bun holder, but they just bent into a U shape and didn't hold my hair securely in place. They were barely long enough to stick out the other side of the bun holder. I'll stick with the Hyfeel picks instead.
