Does exactly as advertised, clean look

I ordered a number of hardware packages from Muzata to install stainless steel cable “railings” in my interior stairwell project including this one. In every package ordered, I was shorted on both the double sided sticky “washers” and the metal washers. These are not items I can pick up locally to finish the install. I called and left messages at their customer service line and no one has bothered to call me back. Also important to note.. the install would look better if all the metal washers are the same size. NOTE: Make sure to open the packages and count every single item you’ve paid for. The drill bits included in the packages also break easily and are worthless. I’m truly disappointed.

Look good, not great when finished. They really need to be a single piece (not a cylinder, a face place, and a 3M sticker).

The metal quality is great, I like that you have the choice of using it for 90* or for your angles on steps. However, it comes with these round clear adhesive tape that attracts everything. The adhesive doesn’t work well except for attracting saw dust/dirt which cause it to be worse. It doesn’t stick to the tube very well so most often the tube separates from the washer. If they had a better adhesive system I’d give it 5 stars but I can’t because the way it is it creates so much extra work for the installer and doesn’t hold well at all.

The washers could have been a greater diameter to allow the adhesive to adhere to the posts surface that had been affected by the drill bit they were barely attaching to the flat surface of the post

These work ok, but are not the greatest. The sleeves go into the hole in the wood, but then you have no clue if they stay on the outer edge or get pushed into the wood deeper. I used a vinyl post sleeve to go over my 4x4s, and once the sleeves are in you cannot get them out. Also of note is not to attach the outer ring on the post until the cables are all tight. If you try to tighten them once the rings are stuck on the post it will pull the sticky gel into the hole and off of the ring leaving the ring dangling on the cable. I purchased the straight hole design for other posts that were all one unit and those worked much better, but these are kind of a pain to use.

Needed 80 count so we ordered 4 of the 20 count packages. Received 4 packages, but 1 package only had 10 angle inserts and 1 package was missing 1, so now we can't finish the project. Very frustrating.

These are difficult to use and the circle piece at the end is stick on.

Pro’s: The main angled tube works well to protect the corner, which is the main function. I have a couple of lines without these tubes, and the cable does cut into the wood on those, whereas the tubes are protecting the wood well with all the tension when tightening.Cons: the decorative round washers don’t stick and I threw them out after the first corner ( and now need to cut those off). The provided drill needs to be slighter larger. I had to do extra drilling to make the hole big enough for these to fit in the post.Installation was a bit tricky as I found I could not place the angled tube in the post and then feed the cable through as the cable would hang up on the edge of the second tube. Fixed that by placing the tubes onto the cable at each post, feeding the cable through the hole and then placing the angled tube in the post using a flat punch.Overall it does what is is intended to do, but some simple changes would make the installation much easier, and less error. For this reason I give a 3 star rating considering the price of this kit. But as this is the only 45 degree tube that I could find you can make it work with the extra work and thought required.
