Blokkz The Squid Centering Punch

I make custom beer tap handles, and trying to find centers for drilling was a pain in the tuckus! The Squid makes it really quick and easy. I wish I found out about these earlier.The reviewer that said it's a waste of money must not have been using it correctly. There's a video on YouTube that shows exactly how to use it correctly.Mine paid for itself in saved time with the first set of 25 tap handle blanks.

This item is a waste of money! It does not do what they say, and I just consider my purchase as a mistake.

I really like this thing. It's one of those tools you just have to play with as soon as you open the package. I can see the design of this evolving to feature a spring-loaded marking shaft and maybe a metal housing. I'll buy one when that happens.

This has turned out to be a most handy tool! Find myself reaching for it more often than I figured when I bought it.

works every time and on center

Usually I don't rate items that I buy. The only times I do is when products fall short of what they promise. I made a point to review this center punch. We have all had those pieces of wood that are oddly shaped or just off and either drawing corner to corner or using another jig still doesn't help find Center. This finds Center on even the worst blanks I've used with my lathe. I can't say enough about this. It's made finding center a million times easier than before. If you are on the fence about whether or not to get it, believe me it is most definitely worth buying.

I use the Squid in my shop quite a bit, and if used as intended, the device works very well, is very accurate and saves a lot of time.
