I bought this because we have to start recyling compostable items. This bin is clipped to the cupboard door, but it is easily removed to empty it. I move it to the sink when I'm prepping veggies and fruit - it's very portable. I did invest in compostable bags as the ones that come with it are not.

These garbage cans are absolutely great. They are very sturdy, can be easily moved around as needed. They keep the bugs out of th trash which was a major issue in oir kitchen. I loved it so much I bought another one for th bathroom

I really like this kitchen compost temporary storage box to put my green kitchen waste in before I take it out to my backyard 2-section rolling composter (purchased separately on Amazon). The grey color matches my kitchen décor and it's small enough to be inconspicuous hanging on a towel rack. By the way, the included scraper is sort of hidden inside the lid. Other "comparable" boxes were just too large for me and my kitchen.Drawbacks: The included bags are not compostable, so I bought some 1.8 gallon compostable lining bags separately on Amazon so I can just pull out and put the whole bag of stuff in my composter instead of having to dump the contents and be left with a wet dirty bag for the trash. I discovered that it works best to take off the lid completely and put new compostable liners on before putting the lid back on.Another drawback is that there's no "paste" adhesive included if you want to just hang this box on the outside of a kitchen island. Nor do the directions state what type of adhesive works best.Otherwise, I've very happy with my purchase! It is strong and stable and looks like it will last for years. Think globally -- act locally!

Highly recommend! I'm regretting not getting this earlier. Perfect for small spaces, functional and very easy to open and close.

I needed a small trash can that would fit inside my kitchen cabinet and close. This product fit the bill. It came quickly and it was very easy to install even for someone who can never understand directions. It even came with bags! The lid can go in front or back which was why I bought this. Works like a charm. I couldn’t be happier.

I keep the trash can on the floor next to the recycle bin. I think it looks nice there. I’m so happy to be depositing vegetable scraps, egg shells, house plant foliage there instead of putting in the garbage. It is a good size for me. When it is full I will dump the contents into my compost bin.

We use a cloth diaper service, but regular wipes, so we only needed a place to throw out wipes. This is PERFECT for that. The lid is easy to snap on and it keeps it off of the floor so the dogs cannot dig through the gross wipes! It's easy to figure out how hang it, and stays well!The only thing I will say, is bags aren't particularly easy to find in the perfect size.

Don't attempt to take front label off. It won't come off easy and will leave a mark
