Works well
I have had the valve installed for about a month now. The effort to switch the valve is very easy. That was the problem with my old valve. It fits well. There seem to be no leaks out the control stem. I am quite happy.

This is a keeper!!
I never thought I could be so excited about a shower arm diverter valve, yet here I am. I've bought plastic valves before and they've literary broken and fallen off over time. I decided to never buy a cheap valve (or showerhead again). There were so many all metal valves to choose from but even the best had reviews about leaking. I finally decided in this and I couldn't be happier.I could tell it was really good quality straight out of the box. Admittedly I had terrible installing it (I'm not very handy). It wasn't threading right, there was a fountain of water spraying everywhere and I was getting discouraged thinking I found another dud. The issue was actually from the Teflon tape. The shower showerheads needed more tape and I had to thread them as far and tightly as possible to prevent leaking. On the other hand the valve was such a perfect fit to the shower spout that the Teflon kept it from threading all the way. After removing all the new and old stuck tape, I threaded it without any Teflon and it was a prefect! No leaking what so ever!

Beware that it's not reversible
Works and looks great, so 4 stars. Unfortunately I had planned to install it with the male port as the inlet and the female as the outlet to the shower head, so I had bought a special adapter nipple from the wall for this. I discovered that the flow won't go to the 3rd port (handheld) in such an arrangement, so I had to buy a female-to-female coupling and reverse the diverter valve as shown in my photos. Now it works great but I have to orient the knob downwards and handheld hose to the right, instead of knob right and port down as I had planned. Ultimately I think it looks fine this way but I wish I had known this ahead of time. Used premium gray teflon tape and so far there's no leaks.

Does what it should, but it has a water ...
Does what it should, but it has a water restrictor built in, so with the restrictor in the shower head, and handheld, the pressure is less than desirable.
