Perfect for my unit

Packaging different from Singapore store.
Been using instapure R5 for over 10yrs in Singapore. My aquarium fishes survived 100% from R5 filtered water compare to 50% survival rate from direct tab water. However the packaging is different compare to local store filters. Local filters are packed in a seal clear thick plastic compare to amazon which is in carton “not sealed “. Hmmm.... why that’s?? Hopefully it’s genuine. My fishes will have the answer for me soon....

Affordable replacement filters
If you had to deal with the poison of our local tap water, these filters are a savior. I originally had a Brita faucet filter, but not only did the unit begin leaking, the switchover valve got too hard to turn. This InstaPure filter is built so much better, and these replacement cartridges are more affordable than Brita's. They work just as well. These are better filters than the lower models in the InstaPure lineup, removing many other particles such as lead (which I worry about in this older house). No odor or taste to the water. Recommended!

MUCH BETTER THAN DRINKING BIO-WASTE
MUCH BETTER THAN DRINKING BIO-WASTEI have old galvanized pipes that render the water a lovely shade of brown. I get enough iron from my vitamins.This really filters well. they don't last that long before clogging, but it's probably my pipes.The water comes out so clean, i would wash delicate little babies in it.
