These blanks also have a creasing rule at the point. Growers use graphic pencil, mechanical pencil, standard markers, grease markers and other implements to write on them. Some use these many colors as crop markers without writing for growing activities at their nursery. Many retailers use them for either price point information or other marketing. They come in a sturdy shelf box (recyclable) of 1000 ct. with 10 banded bundles of 100 each. Keep your shelf supply in a dark, cool location to extend their life. Macore blanks have a long reputation for dependable performance.

Good to have!!
I use these to keep info on my orchids. I use a waterproof pen since I allow these to stay in my pots. Have worked well for me.

Too Thin.
These are a joke .. they are paper thin!! It's like trying to stick wet cardboard into potting soil ... not fun. I would not purchase these again. I thought I could over look the weird design on the end because I generally use them for seedlings and then throw them out, but they really are horrible.

works but not reusable
It sinks in the soil after a time but i guess any tags would, what bothers me is that I can't erase the pencil to write anything else. I used rubbing alcohol, soap nothing seems to get it off, it still has the old writing which is not faded enough to put anything over it

Not so great
These would be great to use if you could actually write on them with a pencil.I am using very soft lead but the writing does not show up at all. I can write on them with permanent marker but that means you sue them once then toss.

Nice product at reasonable price
Just what I needed. The China market works exceptionally well on these.

Decent quality, lasted well in the sunlight, can be reused after a dip in peroxide.
The other colours are too expensive, at $35 a reasonable price, anything more and they would then be over priced. Good product for their intended use, generally one time use. These are for in seedling flats or individual seedling pots, stand up well to the Ultra violet of the sun. These are an industry standard, they are not typically used in the garden soil. We use them for multiple seasons and use a permanent Jiffy marker on them. We wash in soap and water and reuse for the same variety of seedlings. For those who say these are junk they have never done commercial green housing. We have used thousands of them and these are better than average. The only disappointment is that the other colours are way over priced to be able to colour code. So we buy only the purple.

Perfectly Sufficient
Great deal for the price. The green shape on the marker is the outline of the company's logo. Weird design choice, but I just use the other side. Have used both standard pen and sharpie on these with no issue.

Great, but should be completely blank
These are great. Plastic so they don't break down. Stiff enough to stand up no problem. But the thing printed on the top should just not be there. Leave them completely blank.

Excellent and reusable
Write on them with pencil, put them in the garden and later when you remove them just clean them and use a good eraser. Good to grow again!The white is easy to see in the garden, and they are a good size.Highly recommend.

Flimsy
The plastic isn't very thick. It is difficult to push these into the soil, even the loose and carefully prepared soil in my raised veggie beds. If you want them for seedlings, potting soil, etc. then they are probably fine. If you're looking for something to use in the garden, spend more. I sent them back.
