920D Custom Lace Sensor Gold Loaded Pickguard Tortoise/White

Sigler Music (920D Custom Shop) did an OUTSTANDING job in making this loaded pickguard. It is phenomenal. I had a 1995 Mexican Strat that had been laying around for a while. The volume and tone pots had very little play and to make the original pickups sound better, I adjusted their height so they were very close to the strings. They naturally became louder as well as noisier. I wanted to make this guitar playable and compared to my 2015 American Strat with Fat 50s in it, there was no comparison in sound.I bought this loaded pickguard because I wanted high quality pickups without spending $300. I chose the Lace Sensor Golds for 2 reasons: they were the original noiseless pickups on Strats and the sound reviews on YouTube were good. Once I put them in, the sound was like NIGHT and DAY.My little $150 strat sounded as good as my $1500 strat. Plus it looked 1000% better than it did before. Installing them was pretty simple. I just had to solder a couple of wires and the directions were very clear and in a video available from 920D shops on YouTube. The only adjustment I made was the pickup height which I used Lace's guide of a nickel and 2 dimes (you read that right).The sound on this guitar is so much like Claptons original 70s stuff that I can't believe it. I use this guitar tuned in open G for Stones stuff and my drummer can't believe how snarly I can get the tone through my amp.I love these things so much it inspired me to want to build my own guitar! Which is next on the list of things to accomplish.I highly recommend these pickups. They sound like the true original single coil Fender stratocaster sound,
