Make sure you have a perfect lineup when gluing step 1. I had to make some major fabrication to make the rest of the model fit together because my rocket storage deck slipped an eighth of an inch down while drying and I didn't think it would be an issue but it was.

Okay product. Much much smaller than expected. Need dimension data included in product details.

In 1/350, the model is small but dont let the physical size throw you, it is still nicely detailed in what could have been a very bare bones kit.

Poor engineering and quality control.

Mikro Mir makes kits of subs you won't find anywhere else BUT their engineering and packaging leaves a lot to be desired. When you build one of their kits be prepared to do a lot of fitting, puttying and often redesigning parts of the kit.The kit I received had broken and missing parts. The two propeller drive shafts are supported by two tiny photoetch rectangles which give the assembly a very unrealistic look. The Regulus tube doors don't fit correctly and require modification in order to look at all acceptable. The sail didn't fit the opening and required extensive sanding.There are more expensive resin kits of Regulus equipped subs that might be a better choice. All in all this is a very disappointing kit.
