Loving this world
Forever Wild by K.A. TuckerBook 2.5 in series, Novella5⭐️Contemporary RomanceFormat:PaperbackBook 32 of 2020📚📚📚📚I read this perfect little novella in one sitting. It was and excellent wrap up to Jonah and Calla's story. Full of adventure, laughter, tears , spice and touching moments. I am truly loving this series! Hopefully, the last book is just as good as the first 3. We will be reunited with Marie and find out who she falls for. I've got some mixed feelings about Marie but we'll see if she lands well in Running Wild.📖📖📖📖The holiday season is upon Calla and Jonah, and with the mistletoe and gingerbread comes plenty of family drama. Jonah is bracing himself for two weeks with a stepfather he loathes, and while Calla is looking forward to her mother and Simon’s arrival, she dreads the continued pressure to set a date for their wedding…in Toronto.Add in one bullheaded neighbor’s unintentional meddling and another cantankerous neighbor’s own family strife, and Christmas in Trapper’s Crossing will be anything but simple.#books #reading #katucker #contemporaryromance #bookseries #bookstagram #Alaska #bookworm #bookrecommendations #bookreview

what a cute conclusion
Calla and Jonah prepare for the holidays with both of their families in Alaska. Calla struggles to do decide a wedding date and location. This was a cute, sweet Christmas novella ending Calla and Jonah’s story. It was good to see them interact with their families, and Roy’s storyline was heartwarming. I loved getting this as an epilogue of sorts.

I Love This Series!
Holy cow this was perfection! It was so amazing being back with Jonah, Calla, and the wacky cast of characters up there in the wilds of Alaska.I was essentially craving them and so, on a whim, I decided to pick this up and it was not only a wonderful holiday story but an amazing conclusion to Jonah and Calla's story. I was almost in tears at several points in this 160 page novella, and there were actual tears at least once.Never before have contemporary characters captured my heart so fully. I absolutely love this series and I am looking forward to seeing what K.A. Tucker does with Marie in the companion series that is about to follow

The absolute best way to start December!
First page in, and I was already giddy with delight. Inside the pages of this terrific novella readers will find the amazing combination of heart and soul, Christmas magic and the beautiful imagery of the Alaskan wilderness. All the gang gathers to celebrate Calla and Jonah's first Christmas in their new home . . . and maybe a wedding, too! There are plenty of holiday activities, disgruntled parents to manage, and thankfully wonderful friends who are eager to step-in and lend helping hands. The witty banter is good-humored, playful, and spontaneous and at its best!Roy, one of my favorite characters, who is an older curmudgeonly “Mr. Grinch-type,” plays a big part in the action, too. He’s busily working on a perfect surprise for Calla – gotta love a man who’s good with his hands – while Calla has a BIG surprise of her own for Roy! I admit tears formed in my eyes while my heart swelled with uncontrollable delight.Busy and stressful holiday calamities -- a snowstorm, missing teens, a Jeep in the ditch, a disaster in Calla's kitchen ending with an award-winning Gingerbread House -- kept the group in high gear. Returning to snowy Trapper’s Crossing for the holidays with Calla and Jonah definitely had its ups and downs – but mostly the days and nights were filled with the excitement of being together and the good times rolling with all those warm and fuzzy feels. Things gets a little interesting when Calla and Jonah add a little spice to the nights -- especially with the 'rents trolling the house. Oops!K.A. Tucker earns a five-star topper on the Christmas tree for this merry happily-ever-after love story. This is an extraordinary holiday gift that brightens the holidays and keeps the spirit of family, friendship and love alive – a perfect wrap-up for Calla and Jonah’s amazing duet of love. But never fear -- happy times will return with more of Calla, Jonah and the rest of our friends in Trapper’s Crossing in Dr. Marie Lehr’s story. Title and release date are yet to be announced.

A beautiful ending (for now) to one of my fave series!
I love this world so much, and was beyond thrilled when I learned that K.A. Tucker was revisiting Calla and Jonah with a Christmas novella, and it was everything I wanted! This book is definitely not a standalone, and should be read after THE SIMPLE WILD and WILD AT HEART. And beware this review will contain some spoilers for earlier books in the series.Calla and Jonah are settled in the small town of Trapper’s Crossing, Alaska, happily in love and preparing for their families to arrive for the holidays. It’s a busy time, with just as much stress as there is excitement, but it’s going to be a Christmas like no other.I freaking love these two. I loved seeing them still so loved-up and passionate for each other. They still tease and banter, they’re blissfully functional, and there’s a beautiful chemistry between them that makes them a joy to read.Characters that we have come to know and love in this series appear, and there is some drama to deal with, but it works to build the story and create a fantastic little read that I just adored. Roy’s story in particular was a real highlight (I love that grumpy old guy). It was the ending that I didn’t know I needed for Calla and Jonah, and even though I was so very satisfied with how it finished, I would have loved it to be longer because I wanted more and wasn’t ready to let go.I am so freaking excited that KA Tucker is going to continue on in this world with books for other characters, and I can’t wait for more.So much love for these characters, I loved this one! 5 stars!

Forever Wild
It's no secret that we love K.A Tucker but The Simple Wild series holds a special place in my heart. The Simple Wild ripped my heart out and shredded it in to pieces, Wild at Heart started to mend it back together and Forever Wild has filled in all the cracks and made sure it was whole again. K.A Tucker has done an amazing job at creating characters that I care so much about, I'm convinced I could spend time with Calla and Jonah as they did their grocery shopping and I would love it.The good thing with the novella at this stage is we don't need to waste any time getting to know these people, we know them by now. Roy, Muriel and Agnes are as much a part of my family as my own family. Which means this novel dives straight back in to the action and it packs a lot of action for a novella. We see Calla and Jonah as their families descend to spend Christmas in Alaska. But they have grumpy neighbours, unruly teenagers and a wedding date to set so it's going to be anything but relaxing! This contains all the characters we know and love and includes Jonah's mom and step-father, enough action to keep you gripped but also enough sweet moments between Jonah and Calla to really tie the story up and leave you satisfied and content with how their story ends.

Good, but.....
Good ending to a really engaging series. The weakest part of the series for me was book 2 - specifically the lack of meaningful dialogue between, and action involing, both Calla and Jonah. They just seemed to co-exist....or maybe that was the point...Anyway, this book was back to the playful, engagingdialogue between the two main characters. The only issue I had was the author's avoidance of meaningful moments. In book 1 there is a death and funeral, both of which are avoided completely. While i was a little relieved at this as i would have been an emotional wreck, it seemed to set a president. In this book again, the build up to the more emotionally charged moments is detailed well, but then the chapter ends and suddenly it is one week later! While this can add something to certain scenarios/books, in an epilogue, it sadly left me wanting.

Forever adorable...
Great third novel in a charming, character-filled series of books featuring Calla and Jonah. However, serious fans of the couple and KA Tucker's writing needn't worry as there's the promise of further installments of Alaskan adventures at the end of this book, as the focus shifts to a 'not that easy to like as she too was in love with Jonah' secondary character and her love life.Looking forward to it!

Cute novella but nothing to get excited about
This is a cute little novella to give you a little more of Calla and Jonahs story. It didn't add much to the overall story for me, I did love seeing more of Simon and Roy getting some good things happening to him, but I'm a bit over Calla and Jonah. Not a bad story but nothing to get excited about for me!

Short but Sweet
Agnus and Roy should definitely be a thing!! I know this book is about Calla and Jonah, but let's be real - Roy and Muriel are the MCs and their character development are really sweet
