Not bad but...
Good idea... but all the components make the shank noticeably heavier than your typical shank...

Sturdy design but I found it uncomfortable.
This is a fantastic idea and I ordered one ASAP when I saw this VBL was being offered.I like my duty holster to ride as low as possible for a fast draw, but it was uncomfortable when sitting down as the bottom of the holster would dig into the seat cushion. This prevents that by allowing you to raise the holster higher when entering a vehicle or making it lower.The 2 problems I had were the VBL makes the holster stick out quite a bit farther than the regular UBL. The bottom of the VBL also dug into my hip and was quite uncomfortable. I tried to find a way to spread out the pressure on my hip like I have on my UBL, but because of the sliding mechanism, I couldn’t figure anything out. These 2 problems made me return to my UBL.
