I am very allergic to laundry detergent and soap nuts are a great alternative for me. However, this brand has fallen short. I had an allergic reaction to when I used them where my face swelled up. They also are peculiarly uniform in shape and size, unlike others I’ve used. Also, they are hard like marbles and never break down. All these factors lead me to believe these are not authentic soap nuts. Don’t give up on soap nuts, just order a reputable brand!

I use soap nuts for shampoo. I use a conditioning bar for conditioner. My hair is to my waist and i have very little split ends. I dont use any product in my hair or heat of any kind. Absolutely love soap nuts for my shampoo. I soak them over night, blend them in a blender, strain & then store any that wont fit in my shampoo bottle in the fridge.
