SwiftSW350B 40X-2500X Magnification, Siedentopf Binocular Head, Research-Grade Compound Lab Microscope with 1.3MP Camera and Software

This microscope is good for the price; well made but requires to tie some screws so the pieces are not loose and stay stable. Amplification is good and clean; the camera is 1.3 that gives a nice image but I think I am going to get me a 5MP better. Only con: the micrometer (fine tune) is not that precise and jump passing the fine focus point; so, you have to deal with slowing giving small touches until you get the best picture. Still a good product for the price (unless you want to pay 3000 dollars)

Great micrscope u can really see the quality that u paid for when u first open it and there customer service is great when I first received my microscope the camera attachment was missing a couple business days later and a few emails I had a even better camera than i supposed to received and it looks great cant want to play with it after work thank you swift company your awesome !!

I use this to check my rats for respiratory infections and to teach the kids about bacterias... the focus knob slides when you let go. The camera doesn't get good pictures and the images are not clear through the lenses unless you hold the focus knob in place, then half the time they are fuzzy around the edges. Is it workable, yes... is it adequate for homeschooling, yes... are my results desireable for proving my rats are healthy... not so much. If I can't get a clear picture of the samples, I can't log them in the files.

I have tried numerous times to get the price and part number for the "1W LED lamp" but Swift has informed me that they do not have that lamp. In other words, if your microscope lamp burns, there is no replacement and you will essentially have to get a new microscope. That's a waste of money. Not only that, Swift does not have anyone for their customer service. From my interactions with their Amazon customer service, it seems to me that an AI bot is handling the responses. I have tried to send emails or call Swift to get more info but they do not answer the calls or emails. This brand was purchased by Motic some time ago. Motic is famous for the great quality scopes but they are completely ruining with this addition. They just added the brand but not the support it needs. Very unfortunate. I am an expert in this field and I can tell you this is going from bad to worst.
